October 1, 200718 yr You could go for an iniatiate pure, rune pure, barrows pure, or a staker. But if u only want one def, then i guess youre runed. One extra def lvl prob doesnt even gain u a combat anyways so it doesnt matter. October 1, 200718 yr Yes, you are ruined. because you have a slight advantage in defence over 1-defence pures, and you probably did not gain a combat level, they will completely own you. You should end your account now. :roll: Sarcasm if you didn't catch it. Sheesh, it's only one defence level. If you think it ruined the pure, then make it 5, 20, or 45 defence. October 1, 200718 yr No your not ruined. Look at cursed toast, probably one of the best f2p pkers out there. he has 2 defence. He also has a collection of 140+ pked rune scimmys. So keep going on your pure, its not worth it to start over. I engineered this thread with precise variables that I know would cause lul-worthy flames.

I dont understand It's so they can fight lower leveled people in the wild with more balanced stats who can't hit as hard. However, most pures end up fighting other pures, so..yeah... October 2, 200718 yr Similar happen to me, i tried to develop pure mage and chosed wrong magic attack with staff and got 2 def, but plan been to get 99magic and 90hp and all other stats on 1 then i just leaved that account :) but i had only 24 mage with it :) Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
October 2, 200718 yr Well its not ruined. It just cost you one hp lvl basically. Since hp/def is added together when you calculate combat level. So you lost 1 hp level. But if I can may something positive - if your going to get 99 hp it wont matter since youll then be able to get like 2 def lvls without advancing a cb lvl:D And 2nd, I think that 1 def has a glitch lol:P - sometimes people keep hitting 8 7 (in other words low) on with with dds when though I am 1 def:D Or of course you could just be lucky :-k Check my 99/99 magic - 99/99 ranged 88 hp - 71 combat blog!

October 2, 200718 yr It'll be fine. It goes in the same category as HP lvls so you should prally be happy cause that one def lvl will prally help a lot more than an extra HP lvl. I would be pissed if I f'd up my pure like that though! :wall:
