Remember that post about lunar magic?

 

 

 

Well, Jagex just happened to release a source of infinite unstrung amulets: unstrung holy symbols.

 

 

 

They're located at the Silver Stall in Ardougne. They cost 200 each at infinite stock. Strung amulets can then be banked.

 

 

 

So, if you're willing to pay 7gp/xp (~550 gp/spell), you can get roughly 100K an hour magic xp, using Lunar magic's "string amulet" technique. It requires very little clicking.

 

 

 

I think that this was deliberate on Jagex's part, and that it won't be nerfed.

 

 

 

The Process:

 

1) Tele Ardougne, with invent of Cash + Necessary Runes

 

2) Walk North to the Silver Dealer.

 

3) Buy out your inventory with unstrungs.

 

4) Perform Spell.

 

5) Walk to Bank (possibly as your char is doing the spell).

 

6) Bank.

 

7) Tele Ardougne (or walk back).

I would imagine pretty quickly. I think you can walk while you do the spell, but I'm not too sure about that.

very nice find! I love this update not just because of the update itself, but that there are lots of little hidden shops that are not well known that have infinite stocks just waiting to be found. I'm sure in a month or 2 we'll still find some new shop with an infinite stock that will make something far more useful.

explain a bit more? what lvl is the spell, where are the holy symbols, what bank would you be using ect ect.

It takes 2 Astrals and 10 earths and 5 waters PER Ammy, so if you have a mud staff that means 52 Astrals per inventory. At 180gp each astral (from players) 9,360gp per inventory. I don't know what the resale value is on these ammys but I'm thinking it isn't enough to cover the cost.

The point isn't getting the money back, it's about getting really fast magic exp.

Thanks for this. With the right agility level, you can get about 130k exp per hour here. Average being between 100-130k somewhere.

The the part wont work, you will need to walk back, why? You cant tele to Ardy @ lunar right?

the same speed. There may even be a general store near the silver stall to just sell them ...

One spell does a whole inventory, but not instantly. It's kind of like filling vials, except maybe like...half the speed, but maybe faster than that? Not sure.

I personally would pay anything not to have to click all the time. That way I can chillax instead of ruining my fingers.

Cosmics are 232 each.

 

 

 

You will spend 22,570,120gp

 

 

 

String Jewellery

 

 

 

From 86-99 Magic you need to cast the spell 113,695 times. You need 2 Astral runes per spell, so that's 227390 Astral Runes.

 

 

 

Astrals are 180 each.

 

 

 

You will spend 40,930,200 gp.
