You guys are crazy, you DO know that Level 6 enchant is only like 65-70k exp per hour, right? The exp per enchant is significantly lower in the enchanting arena, otherwise it would be nuts...

Why waste money and runes on a full inventory of unstrungs? AFAIK (correct me if I'm wrong, I never used the spell), String Jewelry gives 83 xp per cast, while using a full set of runes per amulet. So using it on one unstrung gives you 83 xp for 2 astrals, while using it on a full inventory gives you the same xp but uses a lot more runes.

 

 

 

My idea: buy lots of unstrungs, bank them, then stand in the bank taking out one unstrung at a time, casting, banking the strung amulet and getting a new unstrung, repeat ad nauseam. Should be far more effective as far as xp / runes are concerned.

Because you lose time and probably will be paying more for the unstrungs then selling the strung for. And calculate the time to buy all those ammies, 50 hours, 100 hours.

 

Or you can buy 1 unstrung ammy at a time. Easier than buying them all at once from player. But this method is only good if you can't find a seller or is waiting for one.

Meh, doesn't sound very appealing - the best enchant spell is like 120k/hour from what I remember

Doing lvl 6 enchant at MTA is just like alch, the buttom lies just on the last item on inventory. Just keep clicking like what you do in high alching, not that intensive clicking? :?

On a related note, there are also infinite sources of empty vials now, some near a bank. You can buy empty vials for 5 gp each, fill them with the "humidify" spell (requiring only one astral rune, if you wield the appropriate staff). Selling the empty vials back to players for 10 gp each nearly pays for the one astral rune you used.

Well for the first one you can just use the final 96th? level spell to swap books, but sseli will have to only include walking back or possibly tele tabs.

Why not buy 1k-##k while on normal magic and then turn on lunar and start casting withdrawing the unstrung amulets from the bank?

Yes...but it's still insanely fast. Whats so bad about 2 astrals per cast? 2 astrals is about the same cost as one law rune...depending on who you get them from.

That's why I originally asked whether it's per cast or per amulet. "Per cast" to me means "per click". So it's 83 xp per amulet, which makes the whole method worthwhile :)
