goblinmatt12 Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 I played runescape about a year back. Went p2p fairly quick, becuase of a lack of things to do, around level 35. Once I decided to upgrade my PC, I found I would be able to run Guild Wars and I was hooked. I almost completly forgot about runescape. Fast foward to today, I have been playing World of Warcrack for about almost a year now and runescape can not even compare, not in gameplay or the community. So I have a question for you guys. Why do you play runescape over other mmorpgs? Monthly fees? System requirements? Something im not seeing? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't like other pvp systems either, no point except fun. in Runescape you have the chance to win over 2m by just killing someone. It's harder to reach goals. There are more skills, more people. Just an overall better (p2p) community. fakeitormakeit Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 I play because its only $5 a month and although I could afford $15 a month, I only play an hour a week, plus I'm not into Wow(tried it), so I save $132 [annually] and probably enjoy myself more on runescape. Just leaving the real world behind and imagining yourself as a real night back int he old days. But I mostly play it to make time go by. I hate waiting for nite time so i can take a nap. Just an overall better (p2p) community. The main reason I quit runescape is becuase the whole game feels like a grind to higher levels. Sorry but these forums are probably the most mature I have ever seen, and I still see a lot of imature posts. It might be becuase I have not been on a p2p world in a long time, but everytime I check in on a free server I see "n00b" and " free stuuf plz" being tossed around everywhere. I don't burn myself out on this game trying to get every 99 I can, or anything like that. I play when I want to play, and when I have something to do on it.
