January 2, 201313 yr The nex boots are better, and apparently virtus are a similar price.While it is true that Nex boots and such are vastly superior in term if raw stats, I believe using Melee boots would lower your armour vs. Magic, no? (And similar for using Ranged or Magic boots)While these Dragon rider boots give you an important armour bonus against all three styles, including the one you are weak to. And the difference in armour and life points bonus is so minimal that it may as well not exist. Oh, and I forgot to mention it in the post, but I bought these boots for ~5.8m yesterday.
