I'm getting tired of these threads (both the author's many rants and bankspace), but so tired I'm getting Anti-F2P bankspace. Recovering annoying event items from Diango or some other NPC will probably fix this, but the best thing to do is to not give a damn at all to these bankspace rants, we know it's the same damn thing since ever.

Correction: F2pers feel that they need more bank space, but members don't want this because they feel that it would waste their hard-spent money. Macroers don't really need extra space.

I don't see how more space really matters to autoers. It's not like their bank has anything but spare equipment, random event clothing, and a handful of spaces for whatever they auto. They probably use like 20 spaces max, most of it just from clothing.

Bank space does not affect macroers in any shape, share, or form. Macroers only have one function and purpose. Which is to mine/cut/fish a raw material and bring it to the bank so the master can sell it and get RuneScape gold to sell online.

Uggh, If F2P players get an update, by default, it is also a P2P update. For the love of god, do people understand this? When someone says they want an F2P update, they don't mean they want it F2P only.

I'm actually fine with the f2p bank space at the moment. I have about 5-6 extra spots at any given time.

With the assist system and the great exchange coming this month (assuming GE is f2p), this will probably be f2p's best month for updates in quite a few years.

More bankspace wouldn't help autoers. Autoers only need 1 or 2 spaces - one for equipment and one for the items they collect. i'm not asking for much- just complete the last row and give F2P a place to store random event outfits-those take up a huge portion of F2P bankspace.

Yeah, I'll agree with you. The Random event should be able to be recovered by Diango or whoever else.

 

 

 

MehP.S. LP rocks, it's crawling in my skin, I've become so numb, you've paid for your mistakes, broken down. You get the idea.

F2P does need a little more bank space. Not much, just another row/ row and a half max. Even with my Bank organised and 5 "wasted spots" (gotta keep some members stuff), I only have 1 free spot at the best of times.

So, you're stereotyping that all F2P'ers want more space? That's just the unorganised and silly people. Ofcourse it's not fair how people get random event clothes and they fill up (Camo + Leder + Mime) 11 spaces out of 64!

 

 

 

I for one don't need more bank space, I'm extremely organised and got about 5-18 spaces leftover anyway, but I don't carry many items.

 

 

 

I train every F2P skill though, and have so many spaces leftover, but since I am a pure skiller there's no need for armour or stuff like that, so some people (E.G. >>Killerred005<<) do use armour which can take up like, 20+ spaces at time!

If you want, I'll post a picture of my bank (Including my INV so it doesn't look like I hold some in my inventory) so you can see most people, if they take out all the lame stuff they dont need, or try selling things more often, do NOT need bank space. :)

I can see both sides of the argument (for and against bank space)

 

 

 

If people have more than 2 sets of full random clothing items, of course it is going to take up space. But there are sacrifices that need to be made. What is the point of having 4 different sets of random clothing?Last I checked, you could only wear one set at a time :shock: And being serious for a moment, these items are the ones that are going to take up the most bankspace of them all if you are accumulating each set. Sacrifices need to be made sometimes.

 

 

 

On the flipside, if you are a player who is storing things for multiple skills, as well as combat, there may be a lack of space at times, with 10 different runes, 2-3 sets of armour, 2-3 different weapons, ores etc etc it can become full quick.

 

 

 

It's all about organisation imo.

One word: Clans. People need bank space for multiple clan uniforms. What about PK Run Ins? What about Clan Wars? The clan would have to disband because of bank space.

The reason people keep random event clothing is that it might take a while to get it back. I have a ful prince and I took months of playing to get it.

OT: Imo, if free players complain about wanting more bank space, fork out the cash for members or if not be quiet and be thankful for the space you have and the features you get for free. Not bad for free, is it?

Now on to the second and OT: I dont think f2p should get more bank space, however, i wish their was a system like diango and holiday items that could store randoms and member items while you are f2p...I have been a member for around a yr and a half. I went to f2p for about a week and could do nothing with all the member stuff i had in the bank....

 

 

 

Tried taking a good bit of gp out of the bank and accidently took it all out, ended up having to walk around with millions of gp on me for the next 3 days before saying **** it and paying for a membership....ended up dropping everything that was not 100% critical in keeping but still have a bunch of junk that i dont need........so needless to say i will never be a f2p again....

Ok, here's all the f2p items in my bank. Due to the fact that I was a member I can have more bankspace (not going to explain, there is an Aow guide on it.) My challenge to everyone who thinks f2p doesn't need more bank space is this: Try to cut this down to the alloted number of f2p spaces. If you can do this I will become a beliver that f2p doesn't need more space.

 

 

 

The key is:

 

Red-Members items

 

Teal-Non neccesities (I added this to help you out, and was very generous I must say)

 

Pink-Random event clothing

 

Purple-Number of each item I have, I'm not here to have my bank rated :uhh:

 

 

 

This has to be for an account that works on every skill. Oh and there are 100 spaces that aren't random clothes or non neccesities
