Hmm.. I'm guessing the new skill that is coming out will be music. For one, there is a new church organ in the lumby church that has an option to play it, and the examine is "With skill I can play this." Hmm.. wonder what that means

With skill in real life, you can play a real life piano. I don't think Jagex had the Music Skill in mind when they did that examine.

 

Plus, with the amount of people who hate the RuneScape music, I doubt Jagex is going to release a Music skill.

I didn't have my sound on, but it didn't look like my character was doing anything.. I'll have to check it out again

You can also play organs in POHs, and thats been there for quite a while. And no I don't believe there could be a music skill, 99% of people play with music off.

The organ is not new and already have this option of ages.

You can play the organ and music that comes is unique to only 2 organs.

 

If there was a music skill, it would suck, and how would you train it?

32% never use music, and 25% 'rarely' use music, which i would guess means they only use it at special points such as going to a new area etc. thats 57% that don't really use rs music, i doubt jagex would make a music based skill with this many people indifferent to Rs music atm.

there are about 5 organs around rs with a play option.

 

 

 

Playing them unlocks certain songs on the music list that are not area related, but linked to that instrument

music skill would be useless IMO. Just like a sleeping skill or a looking at butterflys skill...

I disagree with that. The total number of votes is large enough to make this a relevant poll. Unless you can think of a reason why tip.it users would have other preferences to listening music than general runescape players.

 

 

 

However, 32% states that they don't listen to runescape music or play on low detail. Some time ago, Jagex added music to the low detail mode. We don't know how many of these players do listen to the music, now that it is available on low detail.

I imagine that if Jagex ever develop a music skill, it would be as much about making the musical instruments as it would be about playing them.

 

 

 

But what would be the point of such a skill. Perhaps as a moral boost in group combat?
