Think about it. At first I thought it would be cool but I soon realized something. This is Jagex once again listening to the whiny 10 year old's complaints. Because they are mad that they can't do something, Jagex is giving them everything. Remember the Godsword? Ridiculously low reqs. The dragonfire shield? Same. I think that slowly but surely, Jagex is giving the game to the noobs.

This update is for everyone, anyone can use it. In fact it helps the high level players, they can get exp from the noobs who want to try something out.

Maybe Jagex will realise it when high levels start dying out.

Its a noob request because of noobs using them to get great stuff. Only good thing is we finally have a use for noobs and letting them do our skilling.

I'm sure they'll find it annoying trying to find someone that can do what they want, and realize it's easier to get the level themselves.

EDIT: and if by "we" you mean high levels, stop using it when talking about yourself. you total is 850, and you have 3 other skills ranked.

Lol, I just realized something. If we get exp from it, then could we enslave all the noobs till they hit lvl 50?

The answer to your question is, not really. Like the others mentioned, stop complaining.

It wasn't meant to be a big update, so don't make a big deal out of it.

It is a big update. Noobs can now be our slaves! Maybe Ill get a noob rather than a cat from gertrude. I will walk it, and feed it, and name it george.

Dizzle, you have no right to rant about this topic. I don't know who in their right mind would want to take advantage of your levels anyway. This is a great update and it is completely voluntary. If a high level player doesn't want to let someone use their 99 crafting, then they don't have to.

Haha, no. The 30k exp limit was put in place to prevent just that.

This is a solution to the annoying beggars everybody is always complaining about so stop complaining. This IMO is one of the best updates so far this year, since it helps EVERYBODY. Not just the low levels or the high levels but both of them.

Says you dizzle, with 2 ranked stats. You can hardly talk of "noobs."

This is Jagex once again listening to the whiny 10 year old's complaints.

One thing is consistent -- it's always the whiniest, most childish people who complain about updates being for those who are whiny and childish.

If you bothered to actually engage your brain before posting, you'd figure out quickly that nothing much has really changed here.

Yeah, ironic, isn't it?

Jagex even posted a clarification on the front page basically saying that nothing has changed, that the update just cut out trust trades. Yet people continue to say "OMFG HI LVLS R USELESS NOW!" Quite irritating.

Because they are mad that they can't do something, Jagex is giving them everything.
Jagex is simply giving them a way to do what they could already do without getting scammed.

I can raise my annoying skills without ever touching materials, why is that... Oh, right. But think of it this way: If I can't do something, get someone to do it for me. It fits the update perfectly.

"300 programmers make their futile but glorious last stand against 1000000 angry players in The battle of Misthalin. They fight for honor, glory and new content sacrificing themselves so that their game may live on. This is Madness! This Is JAGEEEX!"

it's not giving them anything they couldn't get before :? . All its doing is providing a scam free port for higher levels to make items for lower levels, you're argument makes no sense, its really just an anti-scam update.

I quote from another thread.

Before update:

Player A requires X item

Player A requests Player B to make X item

Player B makes X item, gets xp

After Update:

Player A requires X item

Player A requests Player B to make X item

Player B aids player A to make X item, Player B gets xp

The end result hasn't changed, your rant fails.
