That was only available for the gba in the form of a cartridge, not on the unit itself.

 

 

 

I would love an updated version of the DS lite with some little feature boosts.

 

When nintendo brought out the original DS they didn't even think much about it, they were expecting weak sales, but it turned out one of the best consoles of all time with 53.64 million units sold.

 

 

 

Some features I'd like:

 

• Browser included on the system.

• Online pictochat application/ or basic pictochat with added mic support

• Some kind of a system similar to xbox live, where you can see what your friends are playing, and could message them and interact while playing different games.

 

 

 

Nintendo registered the motion sensitive handheld thing though, we will have to wait and see if they are gonna actually come up with something based on it.

Yes! That way I could draw lewd pictures with my friends all 'round the world.

 

 

 

Does anyone really use pictochat except for that? I was under the impression that was its main use. But yeah, mic support and the Xbox-live-like system would be incredibly handy.

 

 

 

I'm relatively content with the consoles released now. Rather than focus on new consoles, I'd much prefer if game companies worked towards fully utilizing the potential capabilities of their systems - more complex, thorough games that take the hardware capabilities (or creative capabilities, in the case of the Wii and DS) to new levels rather than shelling out games until we get bored and the next opportunity for a console hype comes around.

If Sony or Microsoft were the only console maker do you really think they would have a price drop without competition?

I say we make a super console, and call it the PlayareaNii70...a complete rip off of the names of all 3 consoles, but it has all of their games, all of their internetz, all of their features, the Ps3's power, both Blue-ray and HD-DVD and then normal DVD, as well as any other uber thing you could think of.

Agree, Xbox Live, Wii control and size, and Ps3 graphical power, with firefox as the default internet browser, SD card support, USB support, and desktop, like PC, you "install" games an they appear in your desktop, of course, like a PPC you will need the CD in it to play it. Be able to download things like a PC and a keyboard. O wait, That's a PC on your TV. :wall:

Yeah... He's kinda got you there. But I suppose it's all a matter of opinion.

 

 

 

Mine? Well, since you haven't specified any technology limitations or anything, I'll say a VR machine that plays any game and makes it into a VR... Imagine a Pacman where you're actually running away from the ghosts... And FPS's would just rock. There'd also be extensions for racing and fighting games and stuff like that.

My system would be handhled; sort of like the PSP, except that it wouldn't suck. Just kidding! O:) :wink:

 

 

 

 

 

Being a "retro" gamer, or, at least a fan of retro games, I'd just want it to play sprite-based games sort of like the GBA. Basically a GBA with other capabilities like music, etc. Not very innovative, but probably hella fun. :D

I see you never played a game of GTA before

It would play nintendo and sony games, and it would be like a vertural reality. You can get hurt, feel like you break a bone to make it more realistic, but I draw the line at death.
