April 27, 200917 yr Stopping power makes non-hardcore more realistic. A high powered rifle bullet to the stomach will kill you. two or so bullets from an AK to the chest will kill you. Hegemony-Spain
April 27, 200917 yr On PS3 within the next month or so you will be able to sign in on two different PSN accounts at the same time, while playing splitscreen online. This is only for Resistance 2 ATM. So Basically my friend comes round, we start up resistance. I have my account already signed in, and he puts in his details, and he logs in so he can rank up, earn trophies etc. AKA what the 360 has had since launch. I find it quite weird that Sony didn't anticipate stuff like split-screen co-op or online in games. Then again, since their online service is free, there wouldn't have been a difference between a guest and an account. Conversely, the 360 needs a paid account for online, so the distinction between paid and unpaid-for accounts needs to be made. Either way, now the capability is in place for both of CoD's major consoles to support split-screen online play. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
April 27, 200917 yr What primary gun do you guys use for a stealth class? I usually use the mp5, ak74, m16, or mini uzi with my stealth classes. I often find myself in a situation where I'm running into a room with atleast 3-4 enemies. I open fire on them, kill maybe 2 before the others notice and kill me before my bullets do enough to kill them. With a stealth class you should be coming up behind them anyways. Kill anyone who is looking in your direction first. Your team having a UAV up helps a ton, so that instead of running into that room, you can pop a cooked nade in there to soften them up just before you go in. Vienna Raszyn Warsaw Klushino
April 27, 200917 yr This map is one I try to use stealth classes on for fun. I forget the name of the map, but here's the path I take. [hide=][/hide] I run to the first car, chuck a smoke close to the building I will go through in a second, and sprint over there. If I'm lucky the snipers won't kill me. I go into the building, through the side door. There are usually a ton of enemies in here, so I throw a grenade in. This gets some, but there are usually several left alive, and more are coming in constantly. I need a powerful weapon here to be able to take multiple people out before they can kill me, which is why I am using the ak 47. Then I run out the other side of the building, way off to the edge of their side. Then I make my way towards the buildings where the snipers are, and hope for the best. Hegemony-Spain
April 27, 200917 yr [hide=][/hide] In my path you can avoid the sniper's eye, save yourself a smoke, take out the sniper, and get to their side. The only thing that would be fail in that plan is if the sniper put a claymore on the ladder.
April 27, 200917 yr Problem with that is those buildings are usually filled, and with the building on my path, you're coming in from a side they don't watch. But it depends how the enemy is concentrated. If only a few guys are in that building, I could easily taken them out even if they saw me , but if there are more than that, probably not. Being a stealth class on that map is hard, since there aren't any easy ways to flank that aren't usually filled with people. Hegemony-Spain
April 27, 200917 yr I dont usually go stealth on Crossfire, but if I do, I would maneuver through the southern buildings on my way to the enemy side, and though the northern buildings on the way back. This would go for either team starting point.
April 27, 200917 yr Every time i start on the crossfire map on the southern side I ALWAYS nade the alley you pass on the green route as you're almost certain to get a kill or two. Deviant Art Account2 Signatures | 6 Photographs | 1 Other
April 28, 200917 yr Every time i start on the crossfire map on the southern side I ALWAYS nade the alley you pass on the green route as you're almost certain to get a kill or two. lol same... I tried it once after I figured out that every time I start on the north, my teammates either snipe or go there. BTW, I think I just fell in love with the shotguns : I named the class "My Shawty" I finally passed my [low] highest kill streak with one, then again the next game with the other shotty.
April 28, 200917 yr Currently my Stealth class is MP5 silenced, UAV jammer, Bandolier, and Dead Silence. It's awesome. My general strategy is to go wherever my team isn't and come up behind the enemy. Also, I love Countdown for this because fighting is always on the 'edges' of the map, and moves around constantly. Lets me just run straight around and flank the enemy. Actually, any map is awesome for stealth. Sniping levels are the most satisfying, opportunity for many headshots. April 28, 200917 yr What primary gun do you guys use for a stealth class? Depends entirely on the map, but it always boils down to MP5 or AK47, both silenced, both because they have great Crosshairs meaning RDS isn't required and it's easy to aim with silencer attached. For maps where a lot of corners, nooks, short bursts exist I use the MP5, such maps would be ones like Vacant, Wet work, Shipment, Crash. I tend to avoid the open areas and stick to areas where enemies will often run through not expecting an oppenent. For the more open maps or maps where long open roads exist with insufficient cover for going cover to cover with a SMG I use the AK, such maps would be Strike, Bloc, Ambush. I use the AK here as there isn't enough cover to get through it sufficiently and where there is cover, it's usually open from another angle, if an enemy out of SMG range spots you and they have any form of weapon other than a SMG or Shotgun you're going to be an easy target, having an assault rifle evens out the odds. The AK has high damage so it's very easy to take them down in 1-2 shots if you get them square, 3-4 if they're moving. For the "room" situation you mentioned, use 3x special grenade if you aren't, very useful for said situation. If you're unsure of enemy numbers throw in a flash / stun, go in clear the room. For a stealth class though, the most valuable weapon is learning the maps and general enemy positions on them, meaning where they are in general and how to get to them without being seen, making them easy targets. Riku, that route is pretty easy for any experienced player to predict and "prevent". Every time I start on the South side I go through these tactics Assault Rifle: Camp at corner beside red car for first 60 seconds, wait for the usual 1-2 players who come through the green route. Run across road after, clearing along the green route. Sniper: Cover both the stairs and Ladder with a well placed claymore. Stealth: Camp the first 90 seconds at the ladder, knifing anyone who climbs it, then clear through green route.
April 28, 200917 yr kranked1, I have the same reasons for choosing MP5 and AK47 as my stealth weapons! I really liked your tactics for Crossfire. I didnt even think of camping at the ladder to knife the enemies. At the beginning, though, if Im Sniping, I would jump to the ledge across from the ladder, and snipe from there. Reason being is that I find there are more snipers at the beginning of games, and I really like that spot since its really hard to be spotted if you dont shoot. Also, I snipe from there so that I can shoot down any unsuspecting enemies trying to get up the ladder. Another "Stealth" class I use is my shotgun class  Its only a one shot kill most of the time so Im not too concerned about the Silencer. I just put UAV Jammer on it, crouch when moving through buildings (I dont use Dead Silence), and BOOM! Headshot  Yeah, it may sound stupid, but I like it and I find it works.
April 28, 200917 yr I don't have trouble aiming any weapon with just the plain iron sights. Maybe I'm just good, but the red dot actually throws me off a little bit. Whatever, gives me more of a chance to use silencers or grenade launchers or whatever. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
April 29, 200917 yr I can use any iron site apart from the M60E4. M14 iron site is pretty poor as well, but usable.
April 29, 200917 yr Im fine with almost any of the iron sights, but I would use RDS for most of my guns, anyways. The only exceptions are silenced weapons (I use MP5 & AK47, both great iron sights), and gripped shotguns, where I only shoot from the hip anyways. Depending on how good I think I can do, I would switch up RDS and Grip for RPD. Im actually okay with the M60 iron sight, for some reason :
May 2, 200917 yr I would, but cba to pay for live twice EDIT: Just did it, twice, and it wouldn't even offer me the free month of gold? :wall: :?
May 3, 200917 yr Ok, I just reached second prestige about a week ago. I've fallen in love with the G3, I just can't figure out what to use for perk 3. Any ideas?
May 3, 200917 yr Bahaha. I learned that a SAW with doubletap is [bleep]ing ridiculous. You'll shred a person with a light, sexual caress of the trigger. I love it more than the M16. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
May 3, 200917 yr Ok, I just reached second prestige about a week ago. I've fallen in love with the G3, I just can't figure out what to use for perk 3. Any ideas? Steady aim, perhaps. I someone sneaks up on you, and you don't have time to aim down the scopes, that can be a lifesaver. Deep impact if you think you'll ever need it. I wish some of the level perk 2's were in 3 because perk 3 only has 1 or 2 good perks, and if it had more, I'm sure less people would use martyrdom or last stand. Hegemony-Spain
May 4, 200917 yr Bahaha. I learned that a SAW with doubletap is [bleep] ridiculous. You'll shred a person with a light, sexual caress of the trigger. I love it more than the M16. Yeah that is extremely funny, especially on hardcore whilst using deep impact. Just spray random buildings.
May 4, 200917 yr Ok, I just reached second prestige about a week ago. I've fallen in love with the G3, I just can't figure out what to use for perk 3. Any ideas? Steady Aim would be my choice. The other one you could use is Deep Impact. I personally only use those two for Perk 3. Bahaha. I learned that a SAW with doubletap is [bleep] ridiculous. You'll shred a person with a light, sexual caress of the trigger. I love it more than the M16. lol the SAW can be really good with the right class. Have you tried Mini-Uzi double tapped? Its my raygun lmfao
