Nah, Cowchicken got first 99 WC entirely in free worlds (some people insist Everdred), legit, that was around 2001-2002.

 

 

 

Note this was when cutting all trees gave equal XP, and you had to select inventory+right click use on a hatchet+click the tree you wanted to cut.

 

 

 

Snake slava dominated range being level 99 before "rs2" came out. Mind you, alot of this xp was before any other kinds of arrows besides bronze and only regular longbow and shortbows. He was banned for cheating, and to prove his innocence, took his noob to number 1 overall with 99 range in a incredibly short time.

 

 

 

 

He personally flew his computer to the Jagex office for inspection back when Jagex was still a small company, and he was found innocent, there was no macros or deleted traces of them.

 

 

 

Therefore he held both a 1st position ranger, plus created Slavik which was the 2nd character in the game to get 99 ranged. That's pretty impressive.

A Legend in her time, her free smithing was the thing to do, every single day. She made the marketplace. Imagine today if someone had a monopoly for smithing the best weapon in the game for several months.
