Favorite Vacations?

Last year I had a more memorable vacation than the others to Hawaii, i'm going again in 3 days and I can't wait, mind sharing pictures of your favorite vacations?

I've gone on several major family vacations in my life, and the ones I loved the most are as follows:

 

 

 

1. 1998 Yellowstone trip - I miss that one a lot

 

2. 1999 Alaska cruise - went with my friend and my cousins' familes; it was awesome!

 

3. 2000 Southwest trip

 

4. 2001 Canada trip

 

5. 2002 Hawai'i trip - went to O'ahu and Kaua'i with my cousins' family

 

6. 2003 Southwest trip

 

7. 2004 Alaska trip

 

8. 2007 Colorado trip

I've never been out New England or New York since I was 5, and I went to Disney World :lol:

 

Except every summer I go to a summer camp in Maine for 5 1/2 weeks, and I don't know if this would count, but May 24-27 I'm going to Quebec for a school trip :) I'm so excited! And in a couple years I'm going to Israel as part of my jewish-ness :lol:

Summer Trips to Fiji! Great place, been there 2, which were the only times I've been outside of Australia.

Went to Busch Gardens last year, I hugged a giraffe (giraffe=favorite animal) I also went to SeaWorld, god that was annoyingly packed. Shamu was still awesome... I sat in the splash zone, got drenched. Also went to the beach a lot and gathered some sharks teeth.

I enjoyed when we went snowboarding in the 'backyard' of the alps (forgot where exactly, was fun though).

 

 

 

 

 

My favorite was probably switzerland though -- that was a lot of fun. Got to ride down a mountain on these bike/scooter things. :thumbsup:

I'm easy to please. I found a little town called Kingscliff in NSW, Australia really laid back, easy going and being on the beach is always a plus. For the Aussies who need a reference, it's just over the border (enemy territory) from the Gold Coast.

Anyways, I just got back from a cruise to Mexico, that was one of my better vacations for a while. And there was one time at the end of 8th grade that I went to the Florida Keys with some organization, my school set up the trip. That was fun.

Where did you go when you were in AK?

 

I really enjoyed a trip we took to Marco Island, Florida a few years back, it's very different to walk on beaches with sand instead of rocks... :lol:

I've had tons of great holidays, I used to live in Singapore so I was only a few hours fly away from some amazing places (Australia, Thailand, etc.). My best would have to be a trip paid for by me granddad, I doubt I'll ever be able to go again because it cost over ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã20,000 per person :(

 

I think we flew to Johannesburg, from there got a private jet to a safari lodge called Ngala, stayed there about 4 days, got another jet to another safari lodge called Phinda. We stayed there for 4 days as well then flew to Cape Town and stayed there for a week, going sight seeing, shopping, etc. From there we took a luxury train called The Blue Train back to Johannesburg then flew home.

I would have to say my favourite holiday was my last. We went to Canada and hired an RV to drive around the Rockies. It is a beautiful country and I had an amazing time, I found myself really relaxed out there. :)

I went hiking last summer in the Canadian Rockies. Definitely stands out as the most memorable.

Either Italy or Mexico are my favorite vacations. Why? Because in Italy the food, scenery, culture, people and the weather are all exceptional. And Mexico just because it's Mexico. :P The only two places I want to go now are Egypt and Greece.
