On another note, strange sickness reported near my area, fever induced in 12-15 people, no bites as of yet though.

 

Gonna keep an eye on that.

Okay, planning time.

 

Europeans like myself will have a hard time obtaining weapons (damn govornment isn't prepared) so we will need the americans help in that department.

 

I don't know america so I can't think of a meeting point.

 

Europeans should meet somewhere north of paris (hoping somebody can decide where) and from there, we locate the nearest plane or large boat, and go to the point where the american force is.

 

Other continents can follow the same basic plan.

 

Once that is done, we will use atlas' and maps to find a good place to establish a fortification.

 

We will also take some time to gather what supplies are needed.

Well I personally would stick in the US. I know it better, guns and ammo are more accessible, and above all the people I know are here.

 

Here's my plan, assuming I am where I am now, with all the stuff I have now, and zombies are somewhere in my state. They wouldn't be at my house because

 

1: I live on a mountain in the middle of no where

 

2: I have no neighbours within half a mile

 

3: I would have heard about zombies before they got to me.

 

 

 

That being said, here are my immediate steps.

 

1: Fill all the tubs and sinks with water. I have a well, so I can get more water but I would need to go outside to use the manual pump.

 

2: Close my garage, and pile all the crap I have in the garage that isn't necessary (a lot) in front of it, to reinforce it.

 

3: Take my family's chainsaw and cut down the poles that hold up my porch, which would effectively get rid of all other entrances to my house, as of the doors are on the porch, which is at least 8 feet off the ground in all places.

 

4: Move all my food upstairs, fill all containers with water, and stockpile it in our attic/3rd floor.

 

5: Destroy the stairs with chainsaw, put a ladder to the top floor.

 

6: Get my dads hunting rifle, go outside with a giant coil of fencing and fence off our vegetable garden, and my yard which would be able to support food growing.

 

7: Plant food from seeds, cut down trees to help reinforce the fence.

 

8: survive. I would need to raid a gun store a few miles away eventually, but we have like 500 bullets so that would be enough for a while

 

9: if the opportunity arises, take my car (which is a really good off-road car as well) get to the lake with supplies, take my dad's boat, and go to an offshore island i mentioned earlier in this thread.

I am. We'd need a rendezvous point set, and a timespan after which we'd move on if not everyone has appeared. The journey would probably have to be made on foot most of the way. I recommend a place equidistant to most of our locations, quite possibly somewhere in the middle of the country.

 

 

 

Immediate plan: Get all the nonperishables in my house into my car (in easily transported bags, of course) along with some trapping tools and flamethrower if it's built yet, then head for rendezvous point as quickly as possible. Once automobile is no longer a viables option, continue route on foot with GPS to make sure I know where the [bleep] I'm going, through forested areas if possible to A). make camp in trees and B). trap animals (squirrels, rabbits) for food (flamethrower to cook). Avoid all zombie contact as much as physically possible, and avoid an "attack first, ask questions later" policy. Stealth is the best option unless you know you've been noticed.

Well, I could see how the military will try and make it top priority to defend the city, but when the president leaves, so dose the military. So really D.C. wouldnt be worth it, in the long run.
