Two situations, two answers:

 

 

 

#1: A bit of back pain, yes, but I couldn't play computer or any video game system, my fingers would be far too big.

 

 

 

#2: Eh, what the heck, just carry a ladder around, and I could use my computer while no one else could :wink:

Too much hassle carrying around a ladder lol. Although, if you invent like a hovering chair or something like that, then 2 (i know these hovering things exists, but a better one).

 

 

 

I mean, i'm quite a big fellow... More than the avarage-joe, i'm about 55-58cm broad over the shoulders so i often have to walk on the side when going thru a door lol.

 

 

 

But dang, now that i remember that... Dang i dunno! It'd be even more hassle in World1 than World2.

 

 

 

I choose... World 1.5?

This is very interesting... I'm going to take a stab at peoples personalities through what they've written in the dwarf stories.

 

 

 

Hells - You have a dominant mother, father or family member who is very intimidating to you when they get angry. You don't like to be singled out or rebel against the person who is doing this because they will belittle you and make you feel unworthy. On the plus side, when you do what this person says, they reward you. Your family is probably very wealthy and you just roll with the punches they throw. You will find a dominant girl to marry because you are set in your ways and enjoy people making the decisions for you.

 

 

 

Purfish - You have the ability to be popular but you feel tighter hanging out with the people you consider family to you.

 

 

 

Teh langzor - You just want people to hear you out and make some people in your life feel the same way they've made you feel.

 

 

 

Goddess - You are friendly and helpful until people tred on your toes too often, then you turn in to a troll instead of a giant.

 

 

 

Mrmyk - You're introverted but are dealing with it by getting fit.

 

 

 

Strowez - You are dominant and sometimes arrogant and are happy so long as you're the alpha male or leader. People who know you would call you cocky.

 

 

 

Zonorhc - You are the alpha male, you are the 'leader' of the boys and a lot of people admire you. Although you are dominant, you are fair.

 

 

 

Nadril - You're a fence sitter. You love to be a giant but as soon as a bigger giant comes along, you like to blend in and be the grey person to avoid conflict. You're like the substitute giant, who fills in when the other giants are on holidays or absent.

 

 

 

Warrior - You're the wisest, you follow others but climb the ladder quite comfortably and easily roll equally with all the tougher giants. And if the tougher giants feel the need to be tougher, you'll just find a ladder of equal height to meet them at the same level. In your life, there will never be small people or giant people, just people of the same size because you don't give people special treatment over others.

 

 

 

Ele - You're introverted but are also dealing with it by gyming it up, people like you because you're creative and different. You have the ability to be a giant but you really can't be bothered because you'd rather just have fun.

I also invite Ele and mrmyk to have a chat one day, the two of you are very similar.

 

 

 

I would say warrior and purfish could build off one another very constructively.

 

 

 

Nadril everyone is curious about and takes notice of even when he acts as a grey person, because he is interesting.

Zon and I would get along very well because he has the same personality as my father.

 

 

 

Zon and strowez would clash, strowez and I would clash, warrior would give strowez a run for his money.

I would also take one of those extentable mechanical hand things to pick up items so i wouldn't get back pain =)

If I was a dwarf everyone would think I was cute, but if I was a giant I would just stomp everyone and become their leader. I choose giant.

 

 

 

I don't find midgets cute.

I'd rather be a dwarf in a world of giants, especially if I could get good giant friends that helped me. In that case I'd most probably be somewhat parasitic to them, but they're giants after all.

 

 

 

 

 

Either way i would commit suicide for being a freak of nature.

I have a conscience that doesn't let me do those things :P I literally meant I would be the BFG - I just don't have it in me to abuse any position I hold, I try to always be fair even when I'm really frustrated.

I hadn't even started contemplating the mental and psychological aspects of either being a giant or dwarf (in comparison to the people around you), I only considered the physical side affects of each one. So good job. :thumbsup:

 

 

 

As for your description of me, your partially correct. I'm actually quite the extrovert (generally) though the rest of it, I say you'd be close to the mark.

 

 

 

Re-accessing my first decision of choosing scenario #2 I'd have to change that now seeing all the responses from others and particularly yours. You'd be far more less noticed and threatened being a shorter person but being a giant in comparison to others you'd be able to still adjust relatively into other people ways (to the best of your ability) and yet still get the respect you deserve - something I don't see people getting if they are considerably shorter. So I'm going to change my decision to a preference of #1. :wink:

 

 

 

And no I don't go to the gym, but I do, do weights at home. :P

Erm... Good guess? I s'pose I'd like to be heard out, but I'd mostly like the power. And the doom...

Lol a good topic, I'd rather be the giant. No one would ever start [cabbage] with you in a pub. But I wouldn't be too keen on midget loving. :|

Time to make it complicated. Part of my decision would depend on the culture and technology of the two worlds. If it was a violent or warlike(Sparta) culture I would be a giant in a heartbeat. If it was more a present day western culture then that wouldn't be a factor.

 

 

 

Are there professional sports? As a giant I would be a multimillionaire playing football or basketball with midgets. Boxing would be funny as well since they couldn't even reach your face. I hate getting hit in the face but for 20 million a fight to take some hits in the stomach from a midget... I think I could handle that.

 

 

 

A big factor in determining what I would choose would be women. If there was no chance in heck I would ever find a woman I could marry and "get to know" in one world but in the other world I could then that makes the choice easy. I don't really want to try to figure out if being a midget or being a giant would make life better in this realm heh.

I'd vote giant. There would be many advantages also..some common obstacles for the dwarf people wuld be much easier for you, for example. Besides the fact that you'd be considered a freak of nature and all, you'd have enough advantages to make it more worthwhile than being a dwarf in a giant's world.

 

 

 

As a dwarf, you'd face many obstacles. You'd have to have people help you with their everyday tasks that you have to manage for yourself. You'd be very disadvantaged, while as a giant, you'd have a few advantages due to your strength and general size.

 

 

 

I vote giant :)
