Tomato
Earthbound for SNES. Super Mario RPG is also quite exceptional.
w1zard
Fable for X-Box. I played it to much though.
Rease
Have to say either FF3 or Morrowind (only for the sheer size of the game).

Nadril
Baulders Gate II: Shadows of Amn and its expansion pack. Hands down the best ever. BgII had over 100 hours of gameplay, and thats not even doing all the side quests. That, and its just... well amazing. Morrowind i never realy liked. Yes, it was big, but the story was so... just well, not there. realy, i started to wander around, got lost, and never did get to the first part of the story at all. Instead i just looted and raided random towns. And from what i know, Fable is an exceptionaly short game >.< . I can't say much though, because i haven't played it realy. Anyways, Bg II Stands as my favorite. infact, its one of my fav games as well, up there with half life 1 and 2.
Pete_the_Viscous
Yeah: Baldur's Gate II and expansion set. Other than that, (I'm just going to be repeating myself from last time): FF7 Diablo 1&2 Dungeon Hack Pools of Darkness Morrowind Fallout 2 Planescape:Torment Stonekeep Quest for glory V: Dragon Fire ... and I'll stop there as it's boring to read a list any longer than that, I'd suppose. deviantart account
Futurama
My favourite was probably FF7 or FF8, then again I only ever played a few rpg's :P Does zelda : a link to the past count aswell? that was one of the best games ever made imo...
Gradia
Um, lets see... FF7, 8, 9, and 10. I have over 70 hours of gameplay on those FF's. Zelda for the 64 was neat to... There is a few SNES ones I like as well.. (eg Earthbound, Breaths Of Fires, Secret Of Mana) Never really got into FF6 or Chrono Trigger... Even though I heard they were great. My favourite RPG would probably be... Shining Force. 1, 2 and CD were great. 8)

Korla
Planescape: Torment, we're talking Role Playing here, go beat this for role playing... Baldur's Gate I with expansion and Baldur's Gate II, awesome games. Zelda 64 and Chrono Trigger, those I finished...played many others with varying degrees of success...but those are forever classics.

Zeldafreek
Seems to be a lot of people who classify Zelda as an RPG, being a long time Zelda fan I don't call any of the Zelda series an RPG, they are Adventure games. Bah, in any case Final Fantasy, Diablo and D&D are the staples of RPG's and they would get my vote (Maybe not Diablo so much but you can't just wash away 8 years of loyalty). That, and KOTOR 1 (haven't played 2 yet) Also.. i don't know if i'd consider Zelda an RPG. its more of an adventure game i think. and am i one of the only people who hate the Final Fantasy series? Realy, i can't stand to play 'em :(
jak722
Ur not alone... I haven't even played one version of Final Fantasy! Not once! ............ Does Resident Evil count as an RPG? No right? I think its probably survival/horror or something, but its a good series. Realy, i can't stand to play 'em :( FF is yucky :) I don't really know how to define an RPG, and I wasn't sure weather Zelda is ommonly considered one or not, but to me it is, not on par with PS:T as for roleplaying, but still a small bit of character development in every game...? Zonorhc
Planescape: Torment takes the cake for CRPGs. My favourite RPG still remains Dungeons and Dragons. Dark_Tigra
I kind of liked Fable, although it seemed too short and too much like a button-mashing fest, it was still rather fun. It's probably one of my favourite, but I haven't played too many. :P
cluck
I believe Final Fantasy 7 and Chrono Trigger are one of best RPG ever created. But other best RPG are Final Fantasy 8, Zelda (SNES version) and more.
