Do you think Jagex will make NPC diagonal movement work for all NPCs?

 

 

 

Basically, eliminating all safe spots and stuff. Making Jad that much harder?

they already made it possible for certain npcs, such as jad and other tzhaar monsters and dagganoths if im not mistaken

Anyway, I think that if it is implemented, we'll just have to find new safespots... They can't go away forever!

When I see people say it, I pronounce it "poon" in my head. Makes more sense to me. My friend said it in real life once and I almost kneed him in the family-maker.

I'm in Fight Caves right now and read some guides saying that they can and how the safe zone no longer works.

Yeah, they already did this awhile ago. All NPC's that take up at least 2x2 squares now move diagonally.

Yes, Jad and Dagganoth Kings all can move diagonally. I beat Jad even when he moved diagonally. So basically, Italy doesn't work if he spawns in the NW corner.

Nothing has changed really, safespotting any 2x2 or larger monsters is still as easy as long as your monster blocking concept is still there. :roll:

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

how come NPC's can move diagonally yet if I try and trade an NPC the other side of a barrier I still walk sideways like a crab, or if an npc moves into the diagonal swuare to me as i click trade or pickpocket it says... I can't reach that.

 

 

 

Or if I attack someone in the wild who's diagonal to me we do a silly little dance. till we face eachother straight on.

 

 

 

Or if I want to run to something that is clearly exactly north west, i'll run north then west then north then west. Ok I can move diiagonally but if it's one square off of the perfect diagonal route, ur screwed, it'll run the worst possible way to that spot. put a couple of trees in the way and you better hope that you're not following anyone becuase they'll be gone, as you stand admiring the tree. (great in the wild).

 

 

 

they should stick to fixing player characters movement b4 they fiddle with NPC's.

 

 

 

It does seem that I walk sideways a lot less than when Rs2 was released, but man i hate it.. I still look like a .....

That's right, it's a bit harder at the fight caves.

 

I wonder if the graphical update will make it even harder. Since Jads movements might change.

I've only had ONE problem with it

 

 

 

The first Troll General doesn't stay in his little cave anymore. And he hits like 40, bad news for any ranger or hallyer who doesn't know about this. XD

A lot of NPCs can already move diagonically. I don't think that the NPCs haven't gone so much harder because of it though. There are still a lot of working safe spots.

Your post made me lol irl.

P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.
