If jagex improves CLW then I'll be happy, but for now I'm finding it difficult to find a reason to play :(

 

 

 

Remember there is more to runescape than pvp, go and try something else and i'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much.

try buy your dbones lower 1gp lower than e price you could only buy 3k per 15 mins so bulk selling is affected skilling is afected (pkers bought the majority of skill produce dont even argue its very obvious)

Although this post I am writing is extremely ironic, you don't have to quote spam and then write some more yourself. Just ignore it if need be :).

 

 

 

 

 

Anyways, back to the positives of the update. The update is GREAT for non-members;

 

1) Duel arena.

 

2) More bank space.

 

3) Clan wars.

 

4) Bounty hunter.

 

5) Less item scamming (all items sold in F2P usually would be within the 3k limit unless in bulk).

When I get a chance to take a break from herblore ill head to F2P Yews, must be 100% empty except with legitiment players.

 

i miss flax picking bots, i can't get single flax now :(

The Kingdom Minigame ? 1850 flax per day (I think it was 1850) at lower price ... I dont know how much flax are you using per day but 1800+ is ... a lot

My points -

 

- Player to Player trading is better! Less scamming and better price control.

 

- The wilderness is more exciting with new monsters and minigames.

 

- RWT is extinct.

 

- No annoying bots.

 

 

 

And to add a few of my points:

 

 

 

- Improved customer support; less CS staff dealing with RWTing, more time for them to listen to our queries/reports!

 

- Better updates? Hopefully with the majority of RWTing gone Jagex can once again focus on releasing some great updates. Plus with what's around the corner, I'm very excited :).

 

 

 

And I'm sure the list goes on...

 

 

 

When the update was released I was very negative about it, I even cancelled my members. I think in 20 days time when my membership expires I'll be renewing it. There are a heck of a lot of negative factors this update has introduced, but I guess it's for the greater good. It's a huge change, but I'll adapt, and I'm sure a lot of other players will.

Like others here I thought I was alone in thinking that these updates were needed! I must say that I didn't PK and I didn't like getting Pked so I really like the updates! =D>

i have quitted 3 months ago and now these updates gave me a reason to play again(and to become a no-lifer again)

 

i never liked Pking so i couldn't care less for that and i really like CLW, f2p duel arena and more bankspace \

 

only thing im very disappointed with is that unbalanced trade thing but I'll get over it

I really love these updates 10.1/10.

 

 

 

I never used to go in wilderness before, i always got ambushed by so many people. Now its enjoyable, i enjoy exploring in there, and the fact we got revements in there is awesome, stronger than a pk'er, but less of them. Makes it easier on the new guy that wants to walk in the wilderness.

 

 

 

I love the clan capes also, only because I like having a nice look, and the whole Bot/RWT thing is awesome, i walked around today, haven't seen one bot!

 

 

 

 

 

The trade thing is kind of good, kind of bad, think about it, a 3k difference on a party hat it nothing, and it does remove the giving side of the game, however in a whole it will cut down the lousy scammers. And make trading more fair. I hope they go ahead with making it fixed sooner, what with people trying to scam the clan capes for 100k....

 

 

 

I have yet to try Bounty Hunter and Clan wars, it looks great though, 2 minigames for f2p at once, lovely. Also the whole 100 people war going on in clan war and not loosing anything sounds enjoyable :)

 

 

 

I know many of you here wont agree with me, but thats my opinion, and I love the new updates. They work well... for me anyway :anxious:

I probably wont be posting here much longer due to the fact that im quitting unless this change is removed, but I do have a few things I want to add on this matter.

 

 

 

To the OP:

 

Perhaps you are better off in a single player game. The very same attitude displayed by countless people here and RSoF, if it does not hurt them they dont care and in fact even post about it to further hurt those who are already upset and quitting.

 

 

 

Sure, you personally enjoyt he update, but what about families who played together and helped each other? Ill give it example from personal experience. I happen to be good at making $ in this game, very good in fact, and all that $ I made I somehow used to help my friends, little things here or there, big things once in a while.

 

 

 

Now, I can not even give my friend a p potion come January. Obviously, if you have no friends, or dont want to interact with anybody, this doesnt concern you, but all those people ranting and quitting have every right to do so.

 

 

 

They took away any possible way of getting ahead in this game though the use of combat skill or understanding of prices and intelligence.

 

 

 

They might as well rename this to ClickScape, because now its lal about who can click more without getting bored. You dont need to know what something is worth, Jagex will set price for you. You are playing a single player game that is somehow linked to a chatroom.

 

 

 

The full impact of this trade will become more and more evident. Believe it or not, as bad as those botters were, they kept the price of a lot of raw goods reasonable. Now what do you have?

 

 

 

Cheap raw goods gone

 

Merchants gone

 

Stakers gone

 

PK's gone

 

 

 

Sure, bots gone is a good thing, but the impact of this change will affect everyone no matter how hard headed they are about this.

 

 

 

Any game that betrays its vereran players, its top of the top screws itself.

I am very happy about all the updates they have made in the past few months. I hated pures because they are not what real accounts should be ( i know i will get flammed.) I didn't like how people could make so much money by just gambling. I hated how autoers ruined the game.

 

 

 

All of these updates are awsome.

People will still auto like they always have but now they will either do it just to be rich in the game or just sell accts irl instead of there gold. In my opinion there is still too many loopholes around it and more then monster hunting got killed in the update. Drop parties are gone, loaning items to friends, and really almost any team based aspect of the game. 0/10

I'm not venting anger... hell I'm not even angry anymore, I've accepted that these updates are going to happen and that I will have to adjust. All my post above does is state why the updates do not actually get rid of autoers and other aspects of the game that are greatly affected by the changes that were not discussed in the OP post.
