Fallen asleep in school

I get in those sleep wars with my eyelids, where they magnetically try to slam shut, and it's such an effort to keep staying awake when you get to that point. I'll usually force myself awake, but sometimes it's just too hard, and I give in.

That's what happens to me in my English class, but I end up falling asleep almost ALL the time :| It's just, my English teacher's voice is so monotone and he talks about the most boring crap; just makes you want to kill yourself

I remember in my Geometry class in high skool. This kid fell asleep on his palm, u kno, the elbow on the desk, face on palm. Neways, he started slipping.....................His face slips off his palm, his head falls towards the table, *WHAM* His head hits the table HARD, then he screams "DAMIT!!!!!!!!" The whole class looked and laughed, it was hillarious.

For fun, in my Peer Counseling class, i drew eyes on a piece of paper and taped them to my glasses, see if the teacher would notice. The whole class was laughing. Man.....Do i miss High skool

About a month ago I fell asleep in class twice in one day. In my SR2 class I fell asleep then my teacher calls out "Jennifer!" and I wake up. Then I start to get sleepy again and fall asleep again. This time I think my teacher didn't notice or didn't bother because when I woke up nobody except my friend stayed in class. They said they wouldn't wake me up because then I'd start *****ing...then I got a progress report in the mail telling my parents to send me to bed earlier 8) the school treats me like I'm 12.

How does a profession differ from an occupation?

The only time I've ever fallen asleep in school was in Kindergarten. We used to sit on the floor for our "lession," and I remember waking up with everyone standing over me staring down.

Kids fall asleep all the time now, I like how some teachers are willing to be creative, such as get the whole class to leave the room and shut off the lights. Another teacher sprays water at you if you fall asleep. In one of my classes we have big metal tables, and when someone falls asleep the teacher will get a wrench and just slam it into the table. I think it even scares those of us who are actually aware of what's happening.

Fell asleep once in my grade 9 geography class, got hit in the head with a stapler thrown by the teacher. I've not fallen asleep in any class since.

I know the price. I pay it gladly.

You know you could actually sue that teacher for battery, say she caused severe trauma to your head

I have problems sleeping at night. Im way too much of a night person to be able to fall asleep as easily as someone else, so I make it up in my first classes.

1: English: Sleep through that about 2x a week.

2: Physics: Sleep through about 2x a week.

3: Marketing: Easiest class ever. Sleep 3x a week.

4: History: Sleep every day exept tests.

I dont sleep 5th and 6th cause I have friends in both classes, and my 6th is too hard to sleep in.

Amazingly, I have a 3.5 or so on a 4.0 system.

Off topic, but recently someone was annoying a tutor at college, so they threw a baguette at the offender's head, and exclaimed "YES! I've wanted to do that all year!" (It was all in good fun, before anyone gets concerned).

On topic: I've never fallen asleep at school or college, but I did get really tired once, about a month ago now, and had to go outside into the cold so that I'd wake up. I wonder what caused that? I don't know..... lessons are usually too involving to fall asleep--the teacher usually notices.
