Huta
Oh yeah, its so hard to detect a dramatic shift in IP address and account activity...oh wait, no its not. nice try though. Oh wait, people like me travel 5 months out of the year and use more IPs than cough drops this time of year? Besides, a one-time change in IP doesn't suggest much more than that the guy went out of town for a day and logged in at a hotel.
Latinoking
LMFAO. RWT is a little building in China. With like 20 computers and place to sleep. Go on YouTube. Theres videos of them farming on WoW. And you really think the chinese governemt is going to stop something that brings money into THEIR economy. RichieMcD
I won't go into detail, and I won't tell you how i came upon this privileged information, but certain groups of RWT's have found away around the updates, even the dreaded January trading restriction. All I can tell you is that, they require your name, password, pin and 1.1 mill cash in the bank. In only 2 hours they can transfer 20 million gp through some sort of way. I don't know what they do, but i know that they have found a way to do it. So... awesome updates jagex, they worked real well. May i ask you could you have created a better update? Im guessing not... so stop looking for faults and be happy that jagex has stopped autoers. As soon as they see this happening they will start paying much more atention to IP address's. Did you even send a e-mail to JaGeX telling them of this or did you just come here and complain about a great update?

Because of after 6+ years of being a member and supporting this game, the last enjoyable aspect that I shared with my friends in this game was pking. Every Saturday night we would be on at the same time, and watch eachother pk. It was a blast, we didn't break the rules, none of us drop traded on our pures, we were "honorable." I spent countless hours and well over $300 on this game, and jagex removed any viable way for my friends and I to have our fun. No doubt you're gonna shout BH BH! At me. HAve you been to the BH??? How can you even pretend that the level ranges are fair in the BH, and then even if you are the top level of the cave... there are almost always teams set up ready to ko you. That is not pking, that is a gross mutated child of how pking used to be. At least with the wildy, you could CHOOSE what combat level you were fighting, and you could CHOOSE whether or not you were in a mutli combat area. After removing all of those aspects of the game for the hope of eliminating RWT, I'm PISSED OFF that they weren't even successful in doing so. The only thing thats changed is the RWT's are charging a little more for the gold... they aren't inconvenienced, and they sure as hell are still making a profit off of RS. Hate to burst your bubble, but in college.... the parties don't start until 11-12 at the earliest. That gives me plenty of time to hop onto RS, with my REAL-LIFE friends and pk before i go out and have a good time. You must be in middle-school because your attitude is entirely unnecessary and I merely stated how long i've been playing to show that after playing so long, pking was a constant source of entertainment. I'm not alone in thinking this way.... ask alot of pkers... for many of them it was the last great beacon of enjoyment left. It wasn't about the profits, it was about testing your hard earned skills against someone with similar stats against another human controlled character. Darkan420
Eh. It seems like every time I read one of these people only half consider the updates. "they don't care if they get banned" They do now. There's no way to transfer over the money or items they'd lose in the process of getting banned. That's the only reason they didn't care before, they could RWT or bot for a day or two, transfer the money they're selling or the items they have yet to sell, then by the next morning when they're banned they've got nothing to sweat. Now as it stands there's no easy way to do that, which just makes it less and less appealing and less worth their time. "jagex never banned them before" thing is, before last week jagex had to worry about banning how ever many hundereds of bots they had to a day. There's no bots any more. They have waaaaay more time to keep an eye on the real cheaters (meaning cheaters that have a half-legitimate account) without swarms of constant lvl 3's pouring in. Doomster
Powerlevelling services (in cash-rich skills) seem to be one of the new RWT targets, and the GE seems to be a popular advertising spot. Also found (and reported) some yew bots, the fact they are creeping back suggests they must be able to move their ill-gotten gains somehow. Thus
I think they'll buy 1.1k of red topazs (7k on GE) then trade for trading sticks, then buy red topaz machetes (100k on GE) but how would they sell the machetes? You DONT sell them. The guy who has the 1.1 buys them and the guy with the 20mil trades the money for the machetes. HUGE loophole
