RWT is not beat

first, you're not an insider, and you probally know less than i do.

second, they are just scamming you out of your account, because there is absolutely no way to hack rs, which leads to...

third, the only rwt now is acc trading, because jagex can do virtually nothing about that.

I think they'll buy 1.1k of red topazs (7k on GE) then trade for trading sticks, then buy red topaz machetes (100k on GE)

but how would they sell the machetes?

You DONT sell them. The guy who has the 1.1 buys them and the guy with the 20mil trades the money for the machetes.

HUGE loophole

Wow, that's the first semi-viable loophole I've seen so far. And you don't even really need to give away your password to do it. Something like this should certainly be reported, but in the meantime:

1. There really isn't an infinite supply of red topaz on the GE.

2. Not a guaranteed way to transfer money: if someone sells the machetes for a lower price the GE takes those first, SO:

3. Someone should do this, sounds like a fun way to steal from RWTers, just sell machetes for lowest GE price, so RWTers buy yours rather than their customers. Only problem, when this is found out, doing so might lump your account in with those who actually used this for RWTing.

LMFAO.

RWT is a little building in China. With like 20 computers and place to sleep.

Go on YouTube. Theres videos of them farming on WoW.

And you really think the chinese governemt is going to stop something that brings money into THEIR economy.

No. Please don't make 100% assumptions unless you have evidence to entirely back that up. For all we know, RWT occurs around the world, on a daily basis. You don't have to single China out .

You'd have to be either desperate ot stupid to trust a rulebreaker with your account.
Professional criminals tend to be honest in everyday dealings; how else would they sell their loot? And if they stole accounts, they would get no repeat business. Plus, their are plenty of stupid people in this ole world. Look up the Darwin Awards for proof.
If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system.

Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased.

The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."

The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

I won't go into detail, and I won't tell you how i came upon this privileged information, but it's going to be harder to RWT regardless of the form it takes.

All I can tell is you that, Jagex used to have to throw out a big net with a lot of holes in it. Now there are a lot less holes to sneak through if you want to real-world trade. With certain methods gone, they can focus on catching the people who try others.

It should be significantly more risky (and not worth it) to try and break the rules.

RWT can NEVER be totally stopped. Things like account selling will always be possible. However, what you can do is make life so difficult for the RWT's that it is just not worth bothering with. Why bother with RS now when, by all accounts it is easier to RWT in WOW and other MMORPG's.

Thes updates by Jagex have removed all the easy ways to RWT leaving the more time consuming ways, which are less profitable for the RWT's and easier to track.

Most people who want to RWT to get money fast, is gone, you can only trade 3k at a time (Which they're changing on the amount of quests you have done, so it's still going to be under 100k) why would you spend 4 hours to get 1m, when you could get that by doing it yourself? Why waste your own money for 1m when you can do it yourself for some time? It's not worth it anymore, that's what JaGEx has done, they've made it highly inconvenient to the point it's just about not worth doing at all.

I agree here. This person is right. I mean if I was RWT would have quit and got a real job (if I didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have one) or play console games. Why deal with trying to trade real world items on a game than sell stuff on ebay. Now I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m not saying there will never be RWT or an inconvenience to other players but I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m saying they have cut it down with these plans and updates. Eventually people will adjust and this shows it. Now that Jagex has cut down RWT, traders have found a loophole, what will the others do. As for me, I will continue to play.

To answer #2: You trade with the gold seller DIRECTLY in this case <.<

The RWT will be back. Why? Because Jagex is totally incapable of accomplishing any of the things they say they have accomplished/are accomplishing, as they don't have the 'sophisticated detection systems' which they claim to have. We all see how well fatigue, hard/soft rocks, randoms, pure essence and anything else I've left off the list worked out (In case you're slow, it didn't ).

The difference between Jagex and other companies is that other companies can handle their business without negatively imposing on the gameplay of millions of people (The majority of the time); Jagex, on the other hand, cannot. The only way Jagex will stop RWT is by getting rid of the trade function all together, which is probably what will happen once Jagex sees they are fighting a losing battle.

Oh yeah, its so hard to detect a dramatic shift in IP address and account activity...oh wait, no its not. nice try though.

Oh wait, people like me travel 5 months out of the year and use more IPs than cough drops this time of year?

Besides, a one-time change in IP doesn't suggest much more than that the guy went out of town for a day and logged in at a hotel.

I think suspicion arises when one second you're in the US and the next second you're in some country across the ocean. I don't think the explanation of "I went out of town for the day" would justify the very fast change.

Uhh ohh.... Trouble on the horizon.. In ONLY 2 hours 20 minutes, a real world trader could put 2 mil on your account! We all know that it wouldn't be time consuming, and the companies would still thrive!

... 20 Mil in less than 2 hours.. is not 2 hours and 20 minutes for 2 mil. The point is they have found ways around Jagex's "amazing updates"

Why not? Most of gold farmers ingame responded to "Ni Hao" ?

I won't go into detail, and I won't tell you how i came upon this privileged information, but certain groups of RWT's have found away around the updates, even the dreaded January trading restriction.

All I can tell you is that, they require your name, password, pin and 1.1 mill cash in the bank. In only 2 hours they can transfer 20 million gp through some sort of way. I don't know what they do, but i know that they have found a way to do it.

So... awesome updates jagex, they worked real well.

Sorry, but how exactly did you find out? Did you buy some gold? Did a friend buy some gold? or is this just a hunch, a try to make jagex look bad for these awesome updates that have stopped that have stopped both RWTing and autoing?

I sat next to a friend in real life and watched him place the order on the website, talk to the operators on live chat, give them his account information... about an hour and 20 minutes later, he logs on with 20 mil in his inventory.

Good thing Jagex is updating 15000 (was it?) item prices on the GE.

I'm glad that RWT'ers won't be able to use this on top of old methods in January. They are finding less viable ways, which are easier to detect, and take action against.

Jagex has not made any secret of the fact that they are not done with implementing anti-RWT measures. The trade changes for one. So why are people freaking out that some RWTers are still in business?
