^^^^I want it

yes, i bet that is nearly the highest lvl monster to summon.

anyway, with jagex saying 110 eyes made me think. we cant have more then 110 monsters unless some had no idea or single eyes. with the hydra being announced we can predict with rough guesses.

most things have 2 eyes.

spiders 8(i guessed this because they would be good for skills with all the legs/arms to hold a few things)

hydra 4

so 44 2eyed more monsters are possible

so by that estimation, summoning probably will have alot of variable monsters.

It would be dumb if you need to get 99 summoning with only 5 different monsters to kill lol

Well if we look at this:

http://edgeville.net/summoning/

And assume that arachnids have 8 eyes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, insects and mammals 2 and counting wherever possible...also discounting double of animals and not counting infants...

I calculate that in those pictures there are 125 eyes. And i doubt that these are ALL the ones we can summon.

So surely the "110 eyes" bit wasnt truthful...

Find it and you got the last egg :)

That was what I was talking about! :D

Thanks for putting this up. Now what will give us this egg????

Wow. From its appearance it looks kind of Egyptian... Quick! Someone check Sophanos!--I mean Sophanem!-- uhh... :-k :)

Looks like a Bennu bird

"Egypt's phoenix was sometimes identified with the Bennu bird, a heron sacred to Osiris, symbolizing both the human soul and the god's cycle of rebirth and resurrection. "

Hydra summoning form.

I was talking to a few of my RS friends about what their thoughts on the final egg drop were from, and one of them brought up a good point. Maybe the last egg isn't gotten from killing anything? If you really think about it, only the vulture egg you get from killing stuff, the Raven egg is gotten from wcing, and not a monster drop, so he thought the final egg could be gotten from something other than a monster drop, although none of us had any clue where it could be gotten from, although maybe the previous chaos elemental letter has some information about it? I wouldn't know.

That's what I thought too. I tried thinking of another skill or way you could get eggs and all I could think of was Hunter. Maybe a hunter monster was given a random egg drop in a hidden update?

You have a good point, maybe its time to pull out the hunting gear. It never hurt to try did it? And hunter is supposed to play a big part in Summoning, so there is a good chance it could have something to do with it.

The last egg is a real puzzle...but I just had a thought while trawling through forums looking for news and tidbits on summoning....

What if...the missing egg...is a drop from one of the monsters in the "huge multiway combat dungeon " they mentioned in the january bts.

it does say " ...chew through ranks of creatures and speed you on your way towards that Summoning skillcape..."...could this mean, not only getting the xp from your monster fighting in the dungeon, but maybe the drops from the monsters in there are related to summoning, ie they help you achieve higher levels by dropping stuff u need ??

Just a thought

And another thought, maybe the monsters have a "special attack" which we can command it to do...coz the same paragraph in the january bts mentions "Bring your combat familiar so that you can use their Steel of Legends or Insane Ferocity" Sounds like special attack nicknames to me??

If the hunting skill is related to the last egg, it's a good possibility that you can obtain it by falconry.

The Karamthulhu that you obtain through fishing are used in the Rum Deal quest, and can only be fished if you have not completed this quest. They are not the same ones rumoured to be used in summoning. The ones you fish are in a fishbowl, the ones you get as drops are not. And they have slightly different examines.

Are the Karamthulhu really going to be used in Summoning? It's not an egg...
