HoldenMick
I agree, F2p was the most fun part of rs. I remember pking in my full addy and rune 2h and being scared to lose it, we thought we owned. 8-)
calum12
Once a kind friend took me to rimmington and i was like OMFG w00t gold rocks!!!!!! then next time i logged in i had no idea where i was. I have this vague impression of a secret portal which took you there?!?! Oh well... maybe i will rediscover this magical place sometime far off into the future... Hmmm.... I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later. Probably.
mrpez
If you live in the past you'll never accomplish anything in the present. Get over it and stop whining. If you don't like what Runescape has become, no one is holding a gun to your head. Go start a new game since being a noob obviously is what you desire. Moonshadow
I would pretty much walk from fally to dwarf mines get some coal and iron. Forge it back at fally. Then smith it back at dwarf mines and walk back to fally to sell the finished product. Made about 5k per trip. I figured once i could mine mith and smelt it i'd be the richest guy in runescape \ This is what I did... I remember finding 295 gp on the ground and thinking who would drop so much gold here! It's my lucky day! (This was when I was trying to kill goblins for my money). Also, I got into an argument with the drunken dwarf because I thought he was a real player, but, I added him to my ignore because he was mean and threw rocks at me... Ravenkana
I remember finding the bronze scimitar respawn in Rimmington... I thought that THAT was the most awesome weapon ever. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
FakeYou
aah, back in the days when I thought I could make gp by making it from gold, I was so disappointed when I found out that it was a gold amulet :(
Roseiah
I am still enjoying my "nooby" days, Even though I wish I could play Runescape more I am enjoying myself greatly, every time I get a level, or make a new friend I get happy. I play this game for fun, and it is turning out to be a very enjoyable experience.

--KiuKO--
yea, i miss the times when everything was new, and went exploring karamja and the varrock sewers ( i died ), i started in October 2001, and i remember someone giving me a iron helm, iron short and anti-dragon shield, it felt good, but also i remember asking everyone on how to save the game because i wanted to log off and didn't want to lose my shield. those were the good times. xSxqPowerx
Sure, it was fun when you just started and everything was new. But I have just as much fun being high level, exploring new areas, and becoming really good at things that have been in the game for a long time. Plugpoint
I remember somebody came to Lumbridge to just use a newb for Shield Of Arrav. They picked me, and I think I must have died at some point or something because I ended up at Lumby again (this was before the days of home tele). I remember begging her to "take me down to the fountain city" (where the grass is green and the girls are pretty, haha GNR ftw ) Anyways it's funny looking back on stuff like that. I remember my first visit to Falador, when the hats and scarves Christmas event was around. I got all the hats and scarves on every account but this one lol Plugpoint92 : Maxed 15/06/

Drew33331
Ah the good old days =D. I remember me and my friends would sit in lunch, and discuss our strategies for completing the "Knight's Sword" Quest. We planned for my friend, who had the best mining at the time, to mine the ore whilst us others defended him from the ice giants. All went well until we all died, and he found out that blurite was untradeble.
