hbk_hossack
I'm feeling rather nostalgic today, and I couldn't help looking back on the days of Runescape past. Dooesn't anyone else miss those days when you thought you were the fa-shizzle after you finally got full steel? Or when Lumbridge seemed so huge? Or even just when you got that genie lamp for the first time? When you didn't know how about brand new updates changing the face of Ruenscape, and when you really didn't care, becaus there was so much more to do? I was just thinking back tonight about when i got 300 Total and felt super leet, then even more leet when i got 30 levels in a week. And when i got 30 Ranged. Does anyone else miss those days of nooby bliss? When you could woodcut in Lumbridge and not care that your exp rate was 500xp an hour, because you THOUGHT it was god traning because you didnt know any better and you were having fun? I sure do. 38% of Tip.Iters put stupid made up statistics in their sigs. If you are one of the 62% that don't, put this in your sig.
123Yourgone
When i started playing nobody had full steel and there was no genie lamps, i get what you mean though, i found a white knight which was the strongest monster in the game and attacked it. It kicked my [wagon] back to lumby and i quit the game for 4 hours.

warren211
I think you should really read the Tipit times article called "the good ol' days". [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. wild_goat_14
Ignorance is bliss, because it worked both ways for me once  I was walking past Champions Guild back when I was a noob one day, with my mith battleaxe in hand. This guy runs up to me saying "I'll buy your battleaxe!!!!!!" I was thinking Ok, I'll see what this guy has to offer. He offers 57k, accepts, and brough my net wealth to 64k(lol). I said "Er... you do know that is mithril right?" He said "Yup. Thanks." I had no clue what had just happened and I still don't. :-k I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. I also joined on world 5 or w/e.. I dont remember the number exactly. Anyway, when I went to that world I eventually found my to varrock. Thinking that every city was a world I yelled "Hello, im from world 5! What world is this?" Got a few laughs at me that day. Do you hate Wyverns or Warped Terrorbirds? Think again! No_99_Melee
I would pretty much walk from fally to dwarf mines get some coal and iron. Forge it back at fally. Then smith it back at dwarf mines and walk back to fally to sell the finished product. Made about 5k per trip. I figured once i could mine mith and smelt it i'd be the richest guy in runescape \

highlanders
I started playing in end of 2002, but I stopped. And re-started on the day of easter 2003. I remember I had trouble finishing the tutorial island. Then while I was on the island, there was a drop of bunny ears, and I managed to grab a pair. Then I finally understood that I had to click at the top left of my screen to continue conversation with the npcs. Then my character was born in lumby. This is why I often say that my character was born an easter bunny. But, here comes the drama. My young self decided to start a new character, I don't remember why, maybe just for the kick of starting over. This is how Highlander_S was born. And I just kept training, unaware, and uncaring that my beloved bunny ears were on my other account... And here I am, years later, with this Highlander_S, that has 50M exp, but that I realise does not have what I really want .. my bunny ears.. Sometimes, moments like these, or everytime I see bunny ears for that mattter, I feel like starting over on my first character. How could I have been so foolish as to abandon my ears on an account I did not play? I cherish my first account a lot more than I cherish Highlander.. I'd pick my little level 40 easter bunny anyday over this lvl 108... But that's the problem.. Do I have the patience to start over with my first account? I don't know.. 5 years to get 50M, you can already see I'm not patient for grinding.. :( :wall: :wall: 2480+ total
Nytestryke24
Oh yeah... I remember them....... billybob323
I started in RSC. All i remember doing the first few days is "exploring" (i was actually totally lost). I remember walking all the way up to the ice giants area of the wildy trying to get out before i noticed the counter in the corner of the screen. #-o I dont remember when exactly, but sometime after i became elite (full iron) i met my first rs best friend- your corpse. We made a clan and called it Billy's Corpse. We walked around lumby saying "Billy's Corpse is the best ever!!" For some reason nobody talked to us... :| It was tons of fun tho. I actually miss those days :(
Obtaurian
I remember when members came out, I would hate crossing white wolf mountain because of the big wolf. So whenever I wanted to go to Catherby or Ardougne, I would make sure to stay there as long as possible, so that I didn't have to meet the big wolf very often. If I ever did a quest that made me go back and forth over the mountain, I would give up cause it was just too stressful. ^_^ To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
