VIEW RESULTS OF MY WEIGHT LOSS AT BOTTOM OF POST

 

Hello Tifers, I have decided make a weight loss Blog. I am not exactly obese nor skinny.

I want to lose my chubbiness and get some muscles.

 

If Iam allowed this topic I will record on here what exercise I do every day and what I have eaten to.

 

 

 

I may also take pictures and do a compalation on YouTube at the end

 

My Goal is to do this programme for 60 days.

Day 1

 

 

 

Today has not been the start I wanted to getting fit. It Wasn't Awful but my day did not go as planned. I Basically went out with mates and played footie instead of swimming, I did so some other exercise though.

 

 

 

What I have eaten today :-

 

 

 

Banana for Breakfast <3:

 

I had Pasta and Mince beefs for Dinner and a Yogurt Dessert. I may be going out tonight, So I Could be Drinking, Last Night , K...(Oh Dam forgot new years eve, that has to be an exception!)

 

 

 

What Exercise I have done today :-

 

 

 

Not much as I said :(..but...

 

 

 

100 Sit ups

 

10 pressups LOL :uhh:

 

1 hour of football (At least)

 

100 Skips using a Skipping rope

 

Also Taking my dog out, which is like 1 Mile in distance

 

 

 

Hopefully Tomorrow Will be a better Day..

 

 

 

Day 2

 

 

 

This is the start I wanted!

 

 

 

What I have eaten today :-

 

 

 

Slice of Quice and also a slice of Salmon :o <3:

 

For Dinner I had Tuna Salad \' With a Jacket Potato, But no Cheese Thankfully

 

 

 

What Exercise I have done today :-

 

 

 

1 Hour Swim, With a 3:1 Ratio of Breastroke To Front Crawl In lengths

 

 

 

I.e I Did 3 Lengths in Breastroke then 1 in Front Crawl

 

 

 

1000 Meter on Rowing Machine

 

10 Pressups

 

No sit ups :anxious:

 

Some Weights and stuff...

 

 

 

Days 3-9

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What I have eaten this week :-

 

 

 

Well This week my eating has basically been the same throughout the week. Ive had normally a Slice of bread for Breakfast with butter

 

 

 

For Lunch Ive had Tuna and Sweetcorn Baguette with Sugar free Red Bull (I Probably should cut this out, only has 8 kcal htough per bottle :P )

 

 

 

Dinner has been Varied of course, Nothing too bad

 

 

 

Havent touched the chocolate or Junk food atoll ...

 

 

 

 

 

What Exercise I have done this week :-

 

 

 

45 Mine Swim Every day, With a 3:1 Ratio of Breastroke To Front Crawl In lengths

 

 

 

I.e I Did 3 Lengths in Breastroke then 1 in Front Crawl

 

 

 

Doing Nearly 30 pressups a day (Can now do 20 at once )

 

 

 

No Situp or Crunches as of yet..I plan tostart those Next week

 

 

 

Also Today I was Ill So I Didnt Swim, Had a bad Cold

 

 

 

THE RESULTS

 

 

 

 

 

Ill get it short and snappy

 

 

 

Here are two pictures of my at present...Basically 5 months of work trying to lose weight.....Had mainy up and down periods of weight loss and weight gain but gradually got to the weight I am now

 

 

 

Was 16 Stone ish in November 07, I am now 11 stone 4 pounds

 

I was a 42 " Waist , I am now a 32 " Waist

If you are willing to take tips, be sure not to expect any results the first days or weeks. Losing weight isn't exactly something you can or should do rapidly. Also, don't get scared if you actually gain weight at the beginning, because muscle is heavier than fat. Also, be consistent. There's no point of doing 4-hours workout two days and then dropping the programme. Also, if you are exercising, be sure to drink enough liquids (water, fruit juice, etc.).

Post some pictures of the scales per day/week.

Ohh You will See tomorrow

 

 

 

Basically What I do tomorrow is what I will be doing nearly Everyday

 

 

 

To Put it simply

 

 

 

The first part of my plan, for the first few weeks, I will try lose the fat surrounding my muscles

 

 

 

After that I will try and gain some weight and muscle (Not much , I want to have firm tense muscles but not big ones) by eating high protein food (Mmmm Tuna lol) but also protein shakes. The Blog is Basic atm but it will get better ;-)

So i guess your looking to loose fat and put on lean muscle. Aim for 15-20 minutes cardio starting off. Do your cardio at a pace which is not too taxing, but where you can still talk to a parter/ person next to you. For your muscle building, since you have no interest in bulking up aim for high reps low weight and by low i dont mean 3 pounds. >.< Around 15-20 reps a set id say. Anywho, ill be checking back in often to see how things are going, if you need advice or help you can always pm me or add me on msn. If this dosent get locked i wouldent mind starting one of my own. :thumbsup: GOODLUCK. Its 1% inspiration and 99% persiration.

Good luck man, but remember that everyone gains weight during the holidays. :wink:

 

 

 

Also, cardio is really good for losing weight, especially running.

Thanks for all the replys and yeh I am planning to do low weights but fast reps.

 

 

 

For Cardio I am going to do Swimming One Day, The Gym the Next. Plus many other smaller exercises(Hopefully Every Day) :) . I'll Update this tonight or tomorrow morning saying what I have eaten and what exercise I did today

 

 

 

I also have exams in January so that may get in the way a little on the days coming up to them but should be fine afterwards
