A timeline of important dates in Summoning's concepting (marked A-F; explained below). The development times for Slayer, Farming, Construction, Hunter and Summoning are below the timeline for comparison. A) RuneScape 2 launched/Behind the Scenes article mentions Summoning; B) Mod Bennett writes the initial brief for Summoning; C) Jagex moves to a new office; D) Mod Wilson writes Animal Lore brief; E) Mod Wilson rewrites brief again, back to Summoning; F) Summoning development begins. In the timeline (above), it clearly shows that with the lanuch of a new skill Jagex is atleast, thinking about what the next new skill is. Well, what do you think the next new skill is going to be, maybe another combact skill? Or prephaps a nice new money making skill? Post your thoughts. It's been hinted for almost as long as Summoning, and there's quite a few Engineering constructs in the game. (Oaknock's Machine, Yewnock's Machine, Dwarven Cannons, Dwarven Steamships, Blast Furnace, Furnaces, Clockwork items, Clocks, Oaknock's Exchanger, Gnome Gliders, Gnome Hangar's Machinery, etc) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
