Ok so i did the quest, got to level 16. And now im stuck, lack of charms. I'm at the fire giants, who claim to have a high drop rate. Pfft, they have about 80% chance to drop ONE gold charm.

Listed droppers of charms:

Mithril dragons (4 a time)

Giant rock crabs (10 a time)

Fire Giants

Abyssal Guardians

Druids

Ogres

Blue Dragons

Greater Demons

Ice Giants

Moss Giants

Wolves

Ogres

Hellhouds

Jogers

KBD

Cockatrices

Cave crawlers

bloodvelds (mostly green)

nechs (mostly crimson)

infernals (mostly gold)

189 infernal mages

200 dust devils

cost and rewards of rock crabs

191 Dags

51 earth warriors

65 moss giants

Bloodveld

183 Abbarants

Moss giants 100 kills

Brutal green dragon 1 hour drops

If you have any faster methods. Please share them.

They drop them 80% of the time? That's pretty good.

If it's really 80% that is quite good. If you want more than 1 per kill you gotta fight tougher beasties.

Considering even granite crabs only give 21 exp, that's not really that good at all. At that rate, we're looking at a skill that's twice as slow to train than RuneCrafting. Yeah there are pouches that get great exp at higher levels, but require charms that seem to be very uncommon drops. If you look at all the inv pics of people hunting for them, you'll see quite a few (though still only worth one trip to the obelisk...) gold charms and like one of each of the others.

I meant that it is good relative to many other monsters I've tried.

Had 95 Fire Giants from a Slayer task left, got 59 gold, 12 green, 5 crimson and 1 blue charm(one charm at a time). Also killed two wolves for their bones, they both dropped 1 gold charm each.
