I'm surprised at how many people use a fighting type attack against a Froslass. Is she really that rare to see or are people just stupid and don't know their Pokemon?

I guess people are too familiar with the idea that a super effective and a not very effective hit cancel each other out.

 

Unfortunately, this doesn't apply to immunities. So those people are most likely careless.

Well this post is nothing to do with any tournaments, but the first post does say all things Pokémon, so....

 

Anyway, I'm told this would be the place to find people with which to trade. This would be good as I have 4 that I need help evolving, and no one I know plays Pokémon.

I downloaded an Emerald emulator, and I'm having some godly luck already. I've already got a Ralts, Lotad, Seedot, and Beautifly. (I always get Dustox for some reason...)

is anyone else wicked psyched for HGSS like i am? It's only 2 months from today in the USA til release. I can use my Arceus from Toys R Us event to get either a lv 1 Dialga, Palkia, or Girintina. I also can finally get Latios/Latias because i had heard the WiFi event for the Enigma Crystal will happen very shortly after the release.

 

Anyways, which version would you guys get. Personally I am at a halt. HG has [garden tool]-oh, Kyogre, and Latios, while SS has Lugia, Groudon, and Latias.

 

I'll have to decide before i preorder around jan 30th (when gamestop has the event for specially colored pichu)

I'm getting SS. First because I hate the idea of the heart being anything more than an organ that pumps blood through the body and second because Lugia and Groudon are wicked AWESOME!

Soul Silver all the way. I had Silver version back in the day.

Kyogre and Latios and clearly superior to Groudon and Latias. The former two are just monsters while the later two...can't really do very much in comparision (Latias isn't even uber status).

 

H0-Oh and Lugia, imo, are about equal, although in competitive player, Lugia is clearly better because H0-Oh is utterly ruined by a 4x stealth rock weakness. Lugia is a good wall, but imo Giratina-O is better at it.\

 

Also, idk if anyone's still interested in another tournament, but I'm up for it :)

Sucks that like in the orginal gold/silver, you could get both the birds, just one was level 30 and the other was 70(depending on the game).

I love Gallade(sp?) he a really good pokemon(part physic-fight).

He has leafblade, stone-edge, physcho-cut and drain punch

 

Also anyone here like Tyranitars? I find there type of being dark and rock cool.

You still can. I think they just changed the levels from 40/70 to 45/70 and changed the moveset so that the level 70 one still gets its signature attack

I just preordered soul silver at gamestop because we were right next to one during shopping. Put full money on it so i don't waste it and don't have enough money to pay it off on the release date. They say GameStop hasn't decided if they are having another deal like D/P styluses (i have both XD) but i am hoping that if they do it is styluses with Lugia and [garden tool]-oh on them.
