mikehild
The Reign of Kindo - jazz rock/indie To call them jazz, rock, or even indie is wrong, it's a meld of all three. I've never been really into jazz or indie, but I class these guys within my top 5 favorite artists. http://www.absolutepunk.net/artists/sho ... ils&l=4512

AdioLovesSquall
Legend - the best heavy metal band you don't know about. Viking metal years before Bathory conjured the idea.
Nom
Black Tide. I picked up their single, "Shockwave," from iTunes when it was a free download and was impressed, especially considering they are all under 20. I have yet to listen to the album they released in March, but I would like to check it out if the single was any indication of what to expect. Pret
Killswitch Engage. Some of their music is immense, in my opinion. "Football is a simple game made complicated by people who should know better."

They toured all last summer with OzzFest on the main stage because they couldn't be on the second stage (which was sponsored by Jagermeister) due to the fact they're all underage. Blame their success on that if you will. "Shout" is my favorite by them. They're also on the Rockstar Mayhem Tour this summer. AdioLovesSquall
Klaus Schulze - Mirage Easily one of the best of the berlin school era albums out there, and hardly known these days. For fans of Tangerine Dream and ambient music.

rushrock
Joshua Radin is a fantastic guy. He creates beautiful music and lyrics. I recommend the album "We Were Here", it's absolutely golden. What980
Vanna A Day To Remember Gunther The top two are hardcore, well, imo they are. Peoples views on Genres of music are so picky I might be told otherwise. And Gunther is just really funny and hes worth showing to all your friends for a good "Wth, this is amazing." reaction.
