Dissection, great swedish death metal band

black dragon and starless aeon, two of my favourite songs by them.

Why even try with that idiot? Honestly, there is no point whatsoever. I'd get better replies if I argued with a tree stump.

Most of my favourites are pretty well-known... However, some of the older prog-rock guys are only known to real prog fans, so... Try some Yes and Genesis.

Another (non-prog) band is a German techno band called E Nomine. Pretty creepy, dark stuff, but fun to listen to.

Being immature is a part of being mature.

GetVegas. The best unsigned band I've ever heard.

Also Glyder. Saw them live at Sweden Rock and they were brilliant. The closest thing you can come to Thin Lizzy nowadays.

I only like her song Paper Planes, the rest of the album is just weird with like a jungleish theme.

Venom and Death are bands every metal fan should hear at least once.

Carpathian, a Hardcore/Metalcore band from australia,

listen to the song: Who the f*** taught you snaps?, i heard this live and it was awsome.

If you don't know them, Skindred. "Regga metal" it's really good, people should check them out.
