* Old and new look of runescape character faces: female and male. (But the "New" character faces to right is just a pretty drawing, where the old is ingame pictures from old faces.

 

 

 

* Character viewing what your wearing + shows face of your character (You can see for yourself and see that i look more like a ape, than a human).

 

 

 

* Shows how face is when you talk to NPC....

 

 

 

 

I don't know if i have overlooked something, but to me it seems Jagex is lieng about how "good" the character faces really look..

well watson it is simple business tactics really. 90% of statistics can be made to say anything...50% of the time \

Don't be so hasty, it's only a beta version... and I don't think you're using anti-aliasing, which gives that smoth look.

If you look carefully it clearly says 'Woman/Man Chathead', which I must say are fantastic! It doesn't say anything about the character's heads being what they are shown in the actual game . Jagex isn't lieing, because the chatheads are like the way they are shown now, and the way they were shown before.

Well as ||vu said, it's only beta. So i guess i was a bit to hasty, but i thought Beta was only to fix bugs and that sort of things :?

really on topic now though, the graphics look crappy if i have them in 1280*700 and i am not in full screen. might be a problem you should look into. or as someone else said anti-aliasing could be ur problem

Try using 4x anti-aliasing on full resolution and they look pretty much like that.

I don't see your point on highest detail settings they look pretty much like that, maybe get facts first. You obviously ain't using AA by the looks of your images. :lol: I'm not sure this needed a new thread either you already posted in the other thread. And they are chat heads not character faces.

 

 

 

Considering they are talking about high detail it helps to take pictures from high detail, not the old app.

It smooths out graphics, its available on most graphics cards these days. Its an option in the graphics settings in game.

 

if it says incompatible your graphics card cannot supportit.

its you overmissing something.

Those pictures are from the character to NPC chat screens. And yes they did look like that before July 1st. As for the new ones, I suggest turning on your Anti-Aliasing or adjusting your resolution.

I'm playing lo-detial because my comp is phail where I'm at, and my character looks exactly like yours... do you even have hi-detail on?

It's always a real bummer when people fail to read the fine print. Really.

OT: I agree with others, try AA to see if it makes a difference.

Go get yourself a decent graphics card, stick the settings up on high (in RS) and observe how the heads... look pretty much like they do in that picture from the Trailer... Gawd man. If you want to complain about something and least investigate into it properly...

AND IAM NOT COMPLAINING, i just dident see the CHAT HEAD AS IN THE TRAILER.

 

 

 

BUt i can assure u that, it's not like i havent checked. But it's odd that i never saw it, but i am gonna go check it out.

The chat heads on the right are probably anti-aliased.

Look at the nice smooth face, pretty much what you see in the Trailer. (Except for look on face/hair etc)

 

 

 

 

 

You can stop "investigating" now... and if you really want to see the difference then get yourself a gfx card that can handle it :)

calm down... it is just the beta. they will fix the heads along with every other small glitch/misfit out there. we r lucky to even be playing on hd mode right now. i thought it would take longer in 2 weeks or so. i guess by then they will release the actual version.
