F2P and Lootshare

Featured Replies

I noticed F2P has lootshare, is there any reason for this?

The only good LS is for, is bosses...and so far the best boss is one-shot-elvarg.....

I think cockroaches can be lootshared.

T'was what I was going to say too.

Though, some may just enjoy lootshare.

I have no intrest in helping "keyers" farm xp.

You can also use it to see how much coins have been dropped, so you don't need to pick them up if it is a low amount.

This can be useful with every stackable item! :)

I see ;)

There are greater demons in wildy, but i dont think they are multicombat.

They've been multi since the start of Rs2, and there best drop is a rune large... Lootshare is rather pointless in f2p imo.

I agree, I really dont see the point, lootshare is ment to share drops which were worth more then the trade limit, Think of one drop from a F2P multi combat monster that is over 30k?

i cant. Can you?

but if youre 100% f2p you dont have so many qp that you can trade 30k away ;)

Runescape and impatient people are like ying and yang, they exist as one, they need each other

Its optional, so I won't hurt keeping it in F2P. Infact, some people still use it in F2P (they may find it useful).

F2P lootshare is stupid because you can't coinshare

cursedtoastsignature.png

Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

coin share is availbibe for f2p but heck seen those goblins drop over a 100 lately pointless for f2p

Realistically, it is pointless and we could do without it. But some people still do enjoy it and they do use it with certain monster, i.e., cockroaches, greater demons. So why not let it be?

EDIT - Signature far exceeds our sig limits but since it's so colourful you can keep it.

Heh, maybe they'll eventually give F2P some boss to use it on?

Or maybe get rid of f2p all together? realistically, the chance of either happening is about the same.

F2p lootshare is just as a demo of the real feature, since it's been designed to be used as an equalizer for expensive drops. And to be honest, 21.5k is nothing.

you wont be fighting the dragon you will be helping suply the knight.(ex: cook a shrimp. make a bronze dagger to give to him)

Cockroaches! yes, it is very nice!

in fact, when you're bored of training/doing whatever you do, it's nice to get a few friends and go kill some cockroaches

faster when a group, friends to talk to, small profit at the same time

no, it's not a money-maker, but can make you maybe 30-100k an hour (...oh those lovely law runes which come in quantities in up to 30, atleast a while back they were frequent drops, getting maybe around 100 an hour :))

plus, scimitars are frequent drops. but runes really give a lot of money

Cockroaches! Mainly so you can tell if someone is lying when they say they just got a rune scimmy :P

A f2p boss monster would be nice.. or at least some other high levelled monster for me to bother when I'm bored..

I guess from reading all the posts above people use it at roaches and clanwars. Not so much for sharing loot but for telling you what's going onto others around you?

At least that is what I can work out from it anyway. (I've not been f2p since the updates)
