Go and deflate your head somewhere else. I kinda agree with you but you have to admit, at some point posts like that [vb354] just serve no purpose and absolutely no help. It had nothing to do with the topic. But I believe kent is right (when is he not?) in saying that the spell works in the same way, with a higher mage bonus resulting in successful hits. Although you may still want to take an item like Verac's skirt, or helm, to A) provide more defence against Verac and B) give a small prayer bonus. You still get enough bloods back to cover your trips unless you start with like 90 bloods. 2. They both cast at the same speed 3. Its barrows, and the whole point of the two spells is that your mage bonus doesen't matter as their def is so low. Want to be my friend? Your second point is just completely wrong, take a look at the speed value on a slayer staff, and that of an elemental staff(which it would be foolish not to use with waves). People just thought that but all it has to do with is generally the chest gives runes for slayer dart which helps refill your inventory for more trips, and the barrows bros have a really low magic defense.
