November 28, 200817 yr A little tip for you guys.. When you're feeling really down about something, don't get drunk and try to send your girlfriend a message about it and anything else bothering you. I have to make this up to her somehow :-k Internet Marketing For Newbies
November 28, 200817 yr I know I said tell her but that does take the [bleep]. Still, it works. How did she take it? Badly, I'm assuming... | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
November 28, 200817 yr Well she was kind of upset last night about some minor things in my mind but I got to talking to her friend and I guess she wanted to go drink with him and not tell me (she's told me she gets really out of control when she's drunk) and just some other things that bothered me. So I mentioned those to her along with some other stuff from before and rereading it I think I put it very nicely (especially for being drunk and upset). So this morning I get a text from her saying we can hang out later today and when I asked her what she was doing she told me she was reading the message. She basically said the bare minimum to me for the few minutes we talked, refused to tell me she loved me back (I told her I loved her and she responded with "yeah"), and didn't bother to say goodbye when she got offline (she has to text through AIM, broke her phone). I'm assuming she's pretty mad at me and tonight is going to be a difficult one. Edit: Also, I had no intentions of sending her a message when I started drinking. But as the night progressed I kept on drinking and got to talking with her sister who said it was better to get it out in the open than to keep it to myself so in the end I ended up writing a pretty long message. Edit2: I finally got her talking again and we're working it out. She admitted she's mad at me for the message but I saw that coming when I woke up and remembered the message. I guess the bit about drinking with the guy I was talking to was a misunderstanding on his part and it pretty much led up to something bigger than it should have been. I got a good laugh when my girl explained that bit haha. Internet Marketing For Newbies
November 28, 200817 yr Nothing is more annoying than being stuck at home, while ALL my friends watch some horror film at a mates house (and crash and do god knows what)... For some reason a girl's input, and the host wanting more people to come, leaves me with the short straw... This girl is pretty much the center of the friendship group, if she doesn't go, no one goes... So I sometimes don't get invited because she asks for me not to be there (I deal with it). Although I'm beginning to think she might be scared I may hit-on her, since I am attracted to anyone who is nice (and other reasons) and yeah she does know, my friends never leave a joke about me and her out of it at school. So that's the problem... I have asked her out and failed (yay?) Just slightly annoyed about the alienation issue thats all... I have also told them that they are beginning to "alienate" me... I guess I'll live with it, until it gets out of hand... But seriously, no one is online on my MSN. Yippee ^^ Luck be a Lady
November 28, 200817 yr Ain't teenage life hard? All that agro. I managed to get through that stuff pretty well though. Whenever there was a dispute, I always had the ability to appear friendly to everyone by siding with the underdog while not directly attacking the majority. Anyways, I'm rambling. Just find some new friends. I don't mean ditch them completely, but find some new faces to talk to. Maybe you'll actually find a new group of people more pleasurable. Maintain conversation but at the same time, speak your mind on why her ostracising you from the group affects you so much, and don't attack her personally. It'll just make you look like the bad guy, and cause them to rally around her. Don't tell them this bit, but I think they sound like totally lovestruck lemmings, worhsipping the ground she walks on to their emotional slaughter. When their hormones realise she's not all she's cracked up to be, all will be normal again. deloriagod, I'd leave it for a while. The reason she's not responding is because she's confused and she needs time to figure things out. These little annoyances have a habit of just bubbling under the surface of people until the situation becomes too volatile to handle, when they release all that tension, and not normally in a good way. She needs time to deal with her emotions before sweeping them to one side and pretending like everything's OK. In all honesty, I think you should start seeing her less. Once every other day or something, and only text casually when she actually wants to. It'll give her time to think things through. Sure, maybe she'll decide it's dead in her and you should leave each other at least for a while, but if she does, it's better than her pretending that's not how she feels. That would only cause much more confusion later. Then again, she might realise there's a void in her life without the relationship, and change her mind. Who knows? Either way, she'll realise her feelings, and she'll make the right decision. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |

When their hormones realise she's not all she's cracked up to be, all will be normal again. I pretty much did exactly that when I realized some of my friends were essentially starting to do the same. If you play sports, hang out with your teammates. Just find people who share something with you, and start talking to them. Just remember not to forget about the people who you think are still your friends. Like I said I did the same before and I'm much happier than I was because I don't worry about my friends any more. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.

Either way, she'll realise her feelings, and she'll make the right decision. We already only get to hang out on weekends due to our schedules going back to normal so we won't be seeing a whole lot of each other like we were until Xmas break or when school ends. On top of that her phone is broken so texting is basically out the window unless she's on AIM and texts me through that. But on to the problem at hand: We hung out, talked, and got it all figured out and this is how it went.. So my girlfriend and him had been talking about the three of us and her sister all getting together to drink sometime and he asked my girl if I knew anything about what they were talking about. Of course I didn't and she told him just that. So he turned it into a cruel joke.. My girl unloaded on me as far as what was on her mind and none of it really surprised me. But it wasn't long after she went to bed that her friend started texting me and asked me not to tell her what he was about to say. I told him I wouldn't as I wanted to know what was so important. So he tells me about my girl wanting to drink with him and how he said no and whatnot. Along with that he piled on a bunch of stuff about her cheating on guys before and the likes. So I turned to the bottle and ended up sending her a message. In the morning things were off to a bad start with her but as the day progressed I finally told her the one thing I promised I wouldn't. Then suddenly she was much less upset with me and far more angry at her friend. She explained to me the bit about her wanting all 4 of us to drink together and it seemed like just a misunderstanding. But wait, over the course of the night it got even better.. So we were hanging out and having a great time. We weren't letting it bother us and ruin our night. So I get home afterwards and I get a text from her friend basically saying he was just joking last night about everything he said which is why I wasn't supposed to tell my girlfriend. So I got piss drunk and spilled my guts to my girl's sister, wrote a message I shouldn't have, sent that message, made my girl mad at me and ruined her morning. All because he wanted to "get a rise out of me". Well let's just say my girl and her sister are both furious about this. They both considered him a close friend but don't know how much they can trust him anymore and all that jazz. Internet Marketing For Newbies

December 7, 200817 yr Alright. I've had my eyes on this girl for around 3 months now. My first. She's really pretty, the prettiest in my class, although that's not worth an award. Really pretty anyways. She's also very smart. She doesn't hang out with the girls that make a drama out of everything, she's never had a boyfriend. But I don't know if I love her. Heck, I wouldn't know if I loved her, since it's the first time I've looked at someone in that manner. I think she might have feelings for me too, but again, I wouldn't know.In other words, I don't know if I like her or not, and I don't if she likes me. :| If I get together with her, I'm quitting RS. I'd have other things to do then I think. Oh, and then title should say "I want a girlfriend, and other such relationship advice" ;-) Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude? Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you? Just don't put your all into it, and don't expect everything to come out of it, until you're sure what you feel for her is altruistic. Take babysteps, and see how you feel. It's all about slowly gaining experience at first. If I get together with her, I'm quitting RS. I'd have other things to do then I think. Nope. No girl is worth giving up your free time over, unless it's quality time spent together. December 7, 200817 yr guys, come on... we all know the only way to get a "girfriend" is to stand in lumby, and continually type "press 555 for a hot bf" (No, i dont actually think I'm in the crips.)
December 7, 200817 yr Ask her to a movie like Australia. Or, just ask her to go to Australia with you. Heh. Anyways. You're a baby, and you're stepping. December 8, 200817 yr I feel most other points were covered but I guess everyone missed this one: But I don't know if I love her. Heck, I wouldn't know if I loved her, since it's the first time I've looked at someone in that manner. I'll throw you a big caution right there. At this point, you're not looking for someone to love, merely to date and get to know better. Love will come later should things progress to that point. Telling her you love her too early or you might scare her off and hopefully you're not looking to scare her. As was said, take it slow. Move too fast and you'll have to find new ways to spice up your relationship and it can be difficult. Internet Marketing For Newbies
