November 18, 200817 yr The key to any girl is confidence. Me and my friend went out to eat with my family one night. We both noticed that the hostess was very cute (we're 16), and we kept bugging each other about it and were jokingly like flexing when she'd walk by. I ended up telling him I was gonna write my number on a piece of paper and give it to her, he was like "liar you're full of bs". Before we left, I left her a note with my phone number and said i'd love it if you wanted to hang out some time :) Next morning, who gets a text message? ME. Yay! :) \ "To all you youngsters reading this, if you are under 25 STOP PLAYING THIS GAME RIGHT NOW. Life is to short and you are only that young once. Trust me when i say this, take advantage of the girls now. Once they are 25+ and have been around a few times they arnt dumb anymore, the fun is all over." --BAHAHAHAHAHAH.

November 18, 200817 yr Another problem arises... A girl in my class, who I like a fair bit, is very attractive, and fairly smart. I am 50/50 half attracted to her, because she's pretty, nice and light-hearted, but I keep convincing myself, that I don't like her and I'm not interested, because I know if we had a relationship it wouldn't last long because she has a history of brief stints, and the second reason, is that my other friends don't like her that much. On the other hand, she has been hinting at some sort of relationship, I just don't want to put out an official no yet. I know i'm attracted to her because of my horny male teenager instincts, but how can I silence them? Quit Runescape 30th May 2006.Thanks to Hawkxs for my signature :)
November 18, 200817 yr You can't. Just ask her out, it's high-school. You're not even that close of friends so whats the worst that can happen? ~Retired 10/17/07~"One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures." - George W. Bush
November 18, 200817 yr I am 50/50 half attracted to her she has a history of brief stints Move on, sir. These two statements instantly tell me there is no hope. I have a history of short relationships and I've found you have to really like someone to make it last, and last well. Internet Marketing For Newbies

I know i'm attracted to her because of my horny male teenager instincts, but how can I silence them? Sounds to me like she's someone whose social life mainly consists of getting quick thrills off people around her, and moving on to the next person. Such people are inexplicably insecure about themselves, so it wouldn't surprise me if she tries the "I feel so bad about myself and I need someone to tell me how great I am" card. If you're fine with that, go ahead. The fact you're only half-interested might make it easier when it inevitably breaks apart. I wouldn't recommend it of course, but it's up to you. Since you seem so adamant not to go along with this ( ), I'll give my advice. As for silencing them, find something else that occupies your mind. Something like sport which requires constant focus and concentration. Music's a bad idea, since it's so implicit by its nature it will just remind you of her. Hanging around with friends is a good idea, so long as they don't bring her up in conversation. Just anything away from her that keeps you happy and occupied. Maybe you'll even find someone else and this girl will just become a distant memory. Or you could try castration. Not sure that would work, but if all else fails, needs must... | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |

November 19, 200817 yr "Love" is more than two people getting randy with each other, as anyone who's been in a relationship for more than 3 hours will tell you. Have your parents never had a row? November 19, 200817 yr I never thought i would re-enter this thread after what happened last time. Some of you know me from the crazy story a few pages back, well, ill get right to it. i need some advice. I ended up going back to my ex-girlfriend. I am, umm how to explain this......... im full out in love with this girl. The kind of love that you would go to the ends of the Earth, take a bullet for, etc. I hurt today, i was talking to her on AIM she told me that her friend from Florida was coming to visit her (we live in Connecticut, next to New York for teh non-smart folks). I would have been fine with it if the story ended there, but theres more. She's told me that if her and him wern't restricted geographicly, they would be dating. She said to me, though, that all she wants to be with him is close friends, and if they did hang out it would be with a group. Now, here comes my main problem, also, she told me that she didnt love me. She only liked me. she did say though "I dont love you............. yet" but im really concerned. All of my friends that are friends with her say not to worry because i can get her to love me, but im scared [cabbage]less anyways. i need any and all advice i would do anything for this girl. What can i do to make her love me?
November 19, 200817 yr Doc, I think you need to sit back and relax. You can't force her to love you. The best you can do is show her what a great guy you are and she might come around one day. If she still likes you as more than a friend, you've got firm ground to stand on. You say you went back with her. By that do you mean you're dating again or you've just chosen her to be the one you aim for? If you've started dating she probably shouldn't be telling you there's another guy she would be dating should the conditions be right. You might want to talk to her about that (if you are dating). If she doesn't want to be anything more than good friends with him, don't let it worry you too much. I understand jealousy. I'm a very jealous person, you just have to keep it under control and only bring up situations that seem quite serious in your mind (be sure to apologize should your fears be nothing more than your mind playing with you). She said she doesn't love you yet. I would personally take that as a sign that she may be willing give you the chance to prove yourself worthy of her love. Also, "I love you" can be a frightening phrase to some people. Maybe she sees that as something to be said in a more committing relationship than you two currently have. Best of luck to you :) Internet Marketing For Newbies
November 20, 200817 yr Thanks, I need all the luck I can get She's turned my world upside-down in both ways. Its not the fact that i dont want to lose her, its the fact that i CANT lose her.

November 20, 200817 yr Now, here comes my main problem, also, she told me that she didnt love me. She only liked me. she did say though "I dont love you............. yet" but im really concerned. All of my friends that are friends with her say not to worry because i can get her to love me, but im scared [cabbage] anyways. i would do anything for this girl. What can i do to make her love me? 1) You can't make anyone love you. 2) What she said was pretty harsh and manipulative, in my humble opinion. Teenage girls/girls starting to date, having relationships etc can be very very cruel, even the sweet, nice and principled girls. -> first she tells you that there's this guy she would have dated if he'd lived closer -> then she tells you she doesn't love you... but don't consider dumping her for it, because *tadaa, let's pull out the magic word to see how far he's willing to go* NOT YET. So basically: don't expect anything from me now, but I might someday love you. I'm not saying there are no chances for the two of you, but be weary. Be very weary. By admitting you love her, and she saying she doesn't, there's inequality. And where there's inequality, there's a struggle for power. This is the kind of girl who can make you hurt so badly that you'll behave like a jerk to all the other women in your future.

What can i do to make her love me? For me, what it took was acting the same way, and just being who I was. (In a somewhat similar situation.) That's the best advice I can give. Don't make her fall in love with a fake personality that you're putting on. If she falls in love with you, it'll be of her own accord, not anything you can do. I once shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.Pics or it didn't happen. I hate my generation.
November 20, 200817 yr I love my girlfriend, but she doesn't believe me that I do. We go to the same high school, and I talk to her a bit at school but not much. Today she apparently came to talk to me three times and each time I just walked away. I didn't even notice that she wanted to see me, and I didn't even see her come towards me but I still feel like a [bleep]. She wants to end our relationship now because she doesn't want to be in a relationship or because she doesn't believe me when I tell her I love her, it's odd, but I really do love her with all my heart and she's so different from any other girl. She makes me happy. Without her my life would just plummet and I know I would just start being depressed. I don't want to lose her, but I don't know what to do to prove that I love her. I'm going to try to be with her as much as possible at school (she's a year younger so we aren't in any classes together though), but other than that I don't know how to prove that I love her. She told me that she would think about it tonight and give me an answer tomorrow as to being together or not. I told her I would change for the better but she just said that she thinks I'm perfect the way I am and she wouldn't want me to change a thing. I asked her why she didn't want to be with me anymore if she thought I was perfect and she said she didn't know. I need to prove my love for her, but how!? Please don't give me advice on dumping her or anything negative about her, I really do love her and I want to be with her forever. This isn't just the spur of the moment or anything like that. [hide=Tomorrow I'm going to show her this, and tell her to read it before she makes her decision. It's sappy, but that's how much I care for her.]It hurts so much when I'm not with you, and I knew that someday you'd want to end this, but I didn't think it would be so soon. I thought we had more time together, and I'm sorry for anything I've done wrong. I truly never meant to hurt you, and I feel like such a [bleep] for it. I want this to be so much more than just a high school romance... Being with you has made me happier than I've ever been in my entire life, and I know for a fact I will never feel better than I do when I'm with you. As different as we are, I think we're perfect for eachother. I can't tell you how much I love you in words, because there aren't enough words in the entire universe to do that. I know a sappy little note won't change much, but I really hope we can still be together, and as happy as we were. Brittany M-----, you are the single greatest thing that's ever happened to me, and I wish it would last forever. I love you.[/hide] "Only by going too far can one find out how far one can go." T.S. November 21, 200817 yr Instead of showing her some note, I think you should tell her instead. If she doesn't believe you, all you can do is keep showing her. Oh and be honest, don't keep secrets. Do you see her much outside of school?
November 21, 200817 yr Yeah, we're together a lot after school. I want to tell her all that, but she's gone this weekend to her dad's place and I really don't want to do it at school, it's all crowded everywhere and the only time I really see her is at lunch. It's loud, and not a very good place to talk. "Only by going too far can one find out how far one can go." T.S. Eliot
