ok, i have another relationship blues thing going on. more serious than a crush this time -.-

[hide=]I've never talked about this before, but I really need the boards advice on what could be a crucial decision. Ive suspected for some time now that my gf has been cheating on me.

The usual signs Phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up.

My gf has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, Just some friends from work, you dont know them.

I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always walks down the drive. Although I can hear a car driving off, as if she has gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasnt in a taxi?

I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my gf I think deep down I just didnt want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.

I decided I was going to park my motorcycle next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she came home. It was at that moment, crouching behind my bike , that I noticed that the valve covers on my engine seemed to be leaking a little oil.

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the dealer?[/hide]

Try to win her back rather than confront her. Following her around will give her the impression that you don't trust her. You don't want that. How long have you been dating for? Take her somewhere special. Perhaps even oversees where the other guy can't follow, and do some really neat things while it's just the two of you, and perhaps she'll come to realise she enjoys your company more than his.

Mmmmmm. Forum relationship advice...

OK, so the girl that I like is going out with some dude. Andrew, I couldn't care less, to be honest. I mean, I'm not suppose to judge, but he's really not that handsome of a guy, acne problem, while my face is awesome (I think I look good... -.- ), at least not covered with red splotches. But I'm old enough to know that superficial look things don't really matter. Normally, I'd wait for them to break up as the course of time goes on.

But WOOOOOOOOOOOW.

They are like, the best couple ever. And I mean EVER. They're always cuddling and hugging and laughing and then when they're alone at the end of the hallway after class gets out they get all morose and serious and lovey-dovey.

This is not only driving me insane because I'm friends with the girl so I'd never do anything to sabotage her relationship, but also because of the fact that I could totally NOT live up to the same awesomeness that her current boyfriend is already giving her, and I'd hate to deprive her of that for myself.

Consolations / suggestions / love kthxbai. :(

I'll second that. Also, don't bother with girls who have boyfriends. Especially if their relationship isn't on the rocks. You're just setting yourself up for a lot of pain, both emotional and physical (should you try to break them up).

Look, you've already discovered why this guy makes her more happy than you do. Your whole attitude reeks of "I'm so much better than this guy anyway, I'll just wait for him to [bleep] up then she's mine". She's ain't interested in guys who act that way.

In all honesty, that's what you get when you're friends with girls. They make better company, but if you start developing feelings for them, that's where it starts to get a little... muddy.

A girl I was working with through a school course asked me to wait for her to take her break one day. When I asked why, she said she wanted to get lunch with me. I politely declined, as I promised to get lunch with friends prior to that.

Did I kill my chance with her or what. =P

Assuming that what you said was not just an excuse and you really did have a prior commitment, I wouldn't say so. If you like the girl, what you SHOULD have done to prove to her that you weren't just making an excuse to ditch her, would be to decline but make plans for another day (or just say something casual like "but how about tomorrow?"). To let he know that you're still interested, you should try asking her next time (and soon).

You might have, though. I'd say it's about 50/50, from what I've seen.

I think I asked out an eighteen (or more)-year old girl today. I should probably tell her I'm fourteen...I'm guessing that she thinks I'm a Tech student. She was working at a store me and my friends were shopping at, and they dared me. I got her number, I should probably call her, if only to tell her it was just a dare. I think it's a [bleep] move to lead a girl on when it was just a dare or something like that.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Ugh, I know how you feel. I had two girls who thought I liked them because another friend told them that I did, and they wouldn't stop talking to me about pointless, flirty things, so I just said, "Look, you're a great person and all, but for a relationship, you're just not my type." to both of them. They got the message. One of them's still a bit mad at me though. :P

No she probably likes you even more now because she couldn't have what she wanted. Isn't that what most teenagers want? lol

Explain that when you told your friend that you "like" her, that he took it in the wrong way. He thought you liked her as in liked her more than a friend and you don't. And if she thinks you're lying then add in.. "in fact... I actually like *insert another girls name*". If that's too humiliating then make up a name and a different school.

Once again, I shall defy all logic and go to the internet for relationship advice...

My problem with this girl, is that I can't seem to find anything to talk to her about. She says very little, doesn't carry on with a conversation... it drives me crazy sometimes.

"Allo."

"hey"

"What's up?"

"nothin much"

"Mkay."

And that's about it. I don't do very well with light subjects, as I prefer heavy, heated and in-depth debates/conversations. Once I do start a conversation with her it almost immediately stops. I can't bring myself to ask simple questions such as "How's the weather over there?" and instead say something like, "Do you think Obama's gonna get California?" or "Apple's down 16% in the last couple of days...". Most people my age aren't interested in politics and economics at all...

EDIT: Wow, the moment I thought up something to talk about, she signed off MSN. [bleep] you fate.

Find common grounds. Many introverted, shy people have lots to say about subjects they like. Find out what she likes, compare it to things you like and talk about the things you have in common. If you want her to open up then you're going to have to find out what she's passionate about. The more you talk to her, the easier it will get.

Like IGoddess said, you just gotta find what she likes to talk about. I had this same problem with my current gf and it just takes time to figure it all out. Turns out my gf can go on for hours about her family, sex, our relationship, and school. I tried talking politics with her once and it didn't go far, but that doesn't stop me from bringing those type of topics up ;)
