Ape Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 Hey all. I was in work earlier and we were talking how we met our partners, some through work, some through friends, etc.. But I thought mine was quite unique, so here it is... Leading up to my exams at GCSE, myself and a few others always used to stay behind for extra Maths [geeky, I know, but shh], and then I'd walk home by myself. Everyday at 4pm, I'd walk past this bus-stop and a huge double decker bus would drop a load of students off and that's where I first seen Ceri [my current girlfriend], I was gobsmacked to think someone like her lived so near without me ever seeing her. So, a few times went past and I seen her almost everyday and we'd exchanged looks, etc. Then, to my surprise I recognised someone on that bus and it turned out to be my best friend's cousin. As soon as I realised, I called my friend and said "Hey, need you to ring your cousin and ask him to get the number of this girl on his bus, blonde curley hair, pale and stunning." He did it pretty quick, to be honest and I got the number. We texted and all that, talked on MSN for days on end all the time. So after a few days, she invited me over to hers. So I met her off her school bus and she only lived up the road so we walked up, but barely talked... She was seriously shy. She invited me into her house and we'd had some food and was talking, then her Mum drove down the drive, I'd never seen her move so fast. She took the drink out of my hand, grabbed my stuff and SLUNG me out of her back door. I was quite shocked and adrenaline filled at the same time. I could hear her talking to her Mum and all that, quite contempt, waiting for her to come and fetch me. The next thing I know, a HUGE rotweiler bounced around the corner. I leapt over the wall and into a hedge of nettles and stingies, which I was glad I opted for, rather than being eaten by that dog. I scurried out and ran up her lane. I then realised that my schoolbag was left under her stairs. I couldn't go home without it, so I just decided to be brave and go back. So there I went, back down the lane with the dog barking through the gate, I knocked on the door and her Mum answered, I just said "Hey, is Ceri about?" and her Mum was quite welcoming infact, then in my arms landed my school-bag, Ceri launched it from the top of her landing. What an eventful day that was. But yeah, that was Friday 13th, October 2006 and we've been together since. :) Share your's! New sig to come! I had met her once before at church one time. Although I don't go to church anymore.. Semester had ended and we both ended up with classes across from each other. One day she had smiled at me, im very attracted to smiles. Afterwards we started talking after class briefly..then exchanged numbers. We talked for about a month just about everything then I asked her out on February 24 2008 she gladly said yes \ Ever since we have been happy and content. dragoonson Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 Sat next to her during assembly.We don't get to choose seats like you,we're forced to sit with our classes,so that was mostly fluke.We got bored like halfway through and started talking.Got her number all fast-like,and the next day I asked her out.Fast though I may be,she agreed (because NCC guys are hot) and ever since then...I can't remember the day we met though it was quite recent. I never no how I meet people, but whenever I am at something like a camp I always manage to make a friend since I never have any with me. She was in the same band I was, and I just sort of became a part of her group of friends. At the end of the week I learned that she wen't to my school (I switched junior highs between grades 7 and 8 and this was that summer). We made an odd couple seeing as she is a very social girl and I am not a social guy. Actualy she made me a much more social person quite quickly. I took her to the grade 9 'semi-grad'. After that we wen't to different schools and the relationship was doomed then. We still see a bit of eachother, and her new boyfriend doesen't mind since he knows I have another relasionship with another girls now anyways. My current girl friend is more like minded and a better match in the end. I am over the girl from band camp, actualy never had to go through the whole breakup ordeal since we stipped dating by mutual unspoken agreement. Oh the stuff that goes on at bandcamp, whoa wee. Heh I'm going to bandcamp September 10th I think but there are so many rules its impossible not to get caught, like no girls in the boys cabin and vice versa, (obviously) plus they tape the door handle to the wall so they know if you were out. They are also allowed to barge into the rooms at any time. She was having trouble with her boyfriend because he was being a total control freak so we went shopping to get her away from him. In town we met up with a few of her friends, one of whom I had never met before. All day we were just messing around and then that night when it was just me and him he asked me for my number. We talked to each other constantly for a month, going out all the time. One time he picked me up from my house and we were walking along the street going to meet friends and he just held my hand and we looked at each other. Never said anything but we just knew. Overall I think he managed to raise almost $1000 for charity in total.
