mixand
When I listen to music I feel like I have Parkinson's and I keep shaking my hands/tapping on my desk and move my feet really fast. If I'm listening to metal it's a lot faster. I can stop it but it feels uncomfortable. Anyone else have this problem? "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel AdamsMy new site. dragoonson
Yup.I feel the beat by tapping my right foot. And it can sometimes move from left to right, because I have 2 pedals for my kickdrum. Just gotta tell you I do that because I prefer to keep beat with the kickdrum than the hi-hat.I hardly use it... so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! Intriguing
That's sort of odd. I compulsively tap my foot, tap my hand, or grind my teeth (To imitate drums.) when I listen to music with a strong beat. I think pretty well everyone does that. However, it's a tad different if it happens without you thinking, and you can't stop without feeling uncomfortable. Just a thought.. is there any chance it could have something to do with OCD, or have something to do with you being in such a habit of doing it that it feels unnatural not to? That's more or less me thinking out loud though. Cool.

It also acts as a good substitute music player when I'm walking around somewhere without my Zen. Cool.
sephiroth_king
Nothings wrong. When I listen to intense music, I grind my teeth, grab a tight hold on whatever MP3/MP4 player I'm using, and hold it TIGHT. When a solo comes on, I start to mimic it the grinding or tapping my feet. Only sometimes, though. Otherwise, I'll tap my feet a lot more. Hoping to get a new Signature (with matching avatar) soon. :D In the meantime...Steam username: )I'll rewrite it later (add me if you want)
Lenin64
My breathing will go into "beat mode" and imitate the song's beat, whether it be the actual "1 2 3 4", the lyrics, or the instrumentals. Only sometimes, though. And the teeth thing. Usually only drums there, though. Command the Murderous Chalices! dragoonson
Sometimes I head bang too, especially if I don't have my mp3.I have a nice reputation for that in class  .Though my drumming skills are feared at work  so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! Lenticular_J
Yeah, all this advice is good. But maybe you're also on ecstasy. Seriously though, it's no real problem. You have a dancer's blood. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Shiny
Well, I'm a kinestectic body/learner (sp?) which means I do this constantly, doesn't have to be music. I play the drums (self taught) and I always tap the mouse with beats, adnt hings like that. I tap my foot, grind me teeth. Do them all.
cheese666me
when i listen to a really really good song that i havent heard in a long time (like a year) it gives me a strange feeling that makes me shake :? . I usually listen to death metal so I imitate the drums with my fingers (#2 of the fastest people doing that in my school \ ). when i listen anything else i just move my feet according the speed of the song Why even try with that idiot? Honestly, there is no point whatsoever. I'd get better replies if I argued with a tree stump.
