Recommend an artist/band to the poster above you

Of course not, they are unblack nu christian metalcore.

Why even try with that idiot? Honestly, there is no point whatsoever. I'd get better replies if I argued with a tree stump.

Thanks warri0r, I'll check them out. :) I think I have a few songs by them, but I've never given them much attention.

WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME

#1 Wongtong stalker.

Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!

My favorite groups are The Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Zornik (Dutch), RHCP, Pendulum, Girl Talk, Fort Minor, The Streets, Sum 41, The Prodigy, Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Kanye West etc. I like a lot of genres, so if you could recommend anything in any of those genres, I'd be grateful :o

Here's my last.fm page if you want to check if I already listen to it or whatever.

Aardtmann op Vuurtopberg. They kind of feel like a darker Sun O))). Actually one of their new albums is on LastFM for free. I'll have to check it out too.

Check 'em out if you are sick of Cannibal Corpse.

Nailbomb. =D>

Yeah, nailbomb are awesome, too bad they didn't release much.

Anyway, try some One Man Army And The Undead Quartet, a really good Death/Thrash band.

My Last.Fm

LeekSpinner!!!

Random Furry Dance!!!

Proud to hate life, since not too long ago!!!

I don't know what to recommend to a metal fan but maybe Queens of the Stone Age? If you really want to expand your horizon the New Killers single Human is pretty good, or Vampires Weekend's Ottoman.

For you, i recommend Radiohead

Check out

. Great Indie-Pop band from Athens in Georgia. In my opinion, Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destoyer? is their best, followed Cherry Peel. They have a new album coming out this month, but I haven't heard it.

Cool.

Sage Francis. I'm not sure if you like rap (?), but still, give him a listen. Check out Waterline, Going Back to Rehab, Makeshift Patriot and Slow Down Gandhi, to name a few.

When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

Yeah, I like hip-hop. And I have one of his albums, but I've only listened to it once and I didn't really pay much attention. I'll give him another shot based on your advice.

teh_langzor: Seeing as you like Hip-hop, check out

. You may have already heard of them, and my apologies if you have, but they are absolutely fantastic. MF Doom as the MC and Madlib as the producer = Very good combination. They have 3 albums out I think. Madvillainy is the main one, and is absolutely superb. They also released an instrumental version of the same album, and another album, 2, which is just a remix of the tracks. So in essence, they only have one album out.

(Note: If you have already heard of them, PM me and I'll recommend you something else.)

How2PK: I don't like recommending things to you, because the only artists I like that I know you'll like you already know. As such, I'm going to recommend you something a little bit different. Check out Karl Hector and the Malcouns. Amazing Funk group that released their debut, Sahara Swing, earlier this year. I'd never really heard Funk before I listened to them, but this group has convinced me to get into it. My apologies if you don't like them, but it's worth a shot.

Cool.

Oh, thanks for the tip. the youtube clip sounds cool, so I will check out that record. Finally a recommendation outside of the usual stuff. :)

If you've got the time you should try listenig to Alphonze Mouzon. Mind Transplant is a great record. Don't know if you're really into fusion though? Here's the opening track of the record.

By the way, did you already hear Bonnie 'prince' Billy's record I See a Darkness? It's not so country like and it's just brilliant, one song better than the other. It is a bit depressing, although Oldhams A-typical sense of humor comes trough at some parts. His fragile vocals, the not so happy lyrics and his aproach to music it all fits perfectly. I'm hooked upon it.

Shamefully I already have all of their tracks! Thanks anyway. Try Newcleus, very trippy 80's Hiphop (Psychedelic influenced, kinda) Look for space is the place.
