Today I got bored and decided to calculate just how much time Beyonce uses for repeating the same phrases over and over in "All the Single Ladies". If my timing is correct, she spends 24 seconds of the song's 192 seconds saying "If you like then you should have put a ring on it"; 12.5% of the entire song saying one thing. There's another line in the chorus and no, I did not count that.

Next came the actual line "all the single ladies". Repeating this 14 times at roughly .74 seconds each, Beyonce spends 5.4% of the song saying that one line, for a grand total of 17.9% repetition. Now, you could argue that I should let the chorus slide because hey, it's the chorus, and choruses happen often. Except that 3 out of the 4 lines in the chorus is the exact same line. That figure is actually a little more than I expected.

YOU USED IMPROPER GRAMMAR O:

Today I got a haircut, and bought two new pairs of pants. and had a coffee from timmys that burnt my tongue, and a boston cream donut, and a pack of mentos.

After sadly cockblocking my friend because I was NOT going to take the dive for him with the best friend, I decided I'm not going to be in that position anymore.

I AM going to stop being the chubby kid. I'm not horribly fat, but it does get me the un-wanted side effects that comes with it.

I need to talk with my mother about all the [cabbage] we eat. I'm going to start working out as well. Highschool shouldn't be this.

[Fail attempt to justify what I did] I know what I did to him was wrong, but I'm the reason he ever got some before that, so I guess we're even? [/Fail]

Did yardwork and loaded up a truck/trailer to take to the dump for about 7 hours. When we arrived at the dump, they weighed us, and we weighed OVER 9000 POUNDS!!!! When we left, just around 6000 pounds. Also, the dump is the worst smellin place ever.

I'm such a [bleep]. I'm completely procrastinated on finishing my long overdue Media coursework.

So, I came up with an ingenious plan.

I'm going to purposely corrupt the files for the work that are on the disc.

Good eh?

It'll give me two more days

Though I'm having a bit of trouble with messing up the registry files for publisher..

how do you corrupt files?

You open the file in WinRAR.

It should show the contents of the file.

You delete at least four important registary files.

Delete files like .DLL and .XML. Only 2 or 3 files.

Then save the file and you're ready to go.

Or were you asking what I meant by corrupting?

I asked my dad why my little brother is having school off from 12 even though he doesn't have to go for his eye test until about half 4. He asked me why did I care. I said he's my brother and I'm concerned about his education (he has a lot of time off with being ill/refusing to go in). All I heard him mumbling to my mum is 'Why am I being questioned?' [bleep]ing git.

He's the damn one that takes my brother to the PUB rather than getting him fed. He's the one that drags my mum from work straight into the pub so we both don't get food until past 10 o'clock sometimes. He's the damn one that wastes all our money, telling my brother he's going to get a new laptop when we can't AFFORD IT. He does my head in somet-- most of the time. Fair enough he works for a living but someone obviously missed giving him a copy of HOW TO NOT BE [developmentally delayed]ED and how to raise your children without taking them to the [bleep]ing pub.

Why THE HELL TAKE A CHILD OUT OF SCHOOL FOR NO DAMN REASON OTHER THAN YOU WANT HIM TO HAVE HALF A DAY OFF. LEARN TO BE A GODDAMN PARENT FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE AND REALISE THAT YOUR FIRST CONCERN SHOULD BE YOUR NINE YEAR OLD NOT YOURSELF. As long as I've got food and internet I don't care, but I don't want my brother growing up and ending up like me. :(

Sorry for the rant. But he really, really gets to me sometimes. Why the hell can't I question him? Nobody else has the damn guts to go against what he says and even I don't.

Oh, that sounds bad. :/

I find it really nice that you have such a concern for your brother, though. You're seem to care a lot. :)

For that, I salute you. =D>

Flame pretty much summed it up. Does your brother miss alot of school? Great that you care about him so much.

Thanks :) :) I do care about him a lot even if we do argue a bit :P

He has missed a lot over the past year. He will stay off for the whimpiest colds and it seems this winter he's just been through all the viruses being passed around. He used to have problems with not going in because he was being bullied by other kids (little kids are stupid for the most part), but will take any excuse not to be in even now.

My dad is just... perpetuating the idea 'Oh lol you don't have to go in just because I don't want you to'. He's starting to like going in more now, I just don't want it to go back a few months where we had like... social workers calling up saying he needed to go in, my mum missing work because he refused to go in too. It was a serious mess. Every morning was just a screaming and crying fest. I think me, my mum and grandma in particular are all just wary that if he misses half a day he won't want to go in the next day and then its just a chain reaction from there. My dad was at work though when all that was happening, he didn't have to deal with his screaming and everything but we did :wall: .

That sucks, your dad needs realise that your brother will be severly disadvantaged if he stays at home, if your dad ever complains about tax, tell him that if people didn't let their children stay at home, but instead made sure they got good grades and a job, then those people wouldn't need unemployment payments and the money could be used for the tax payers benefits, such as repairing roadways and finding cures for sicknesses.
