Seriously, though, make up a story But there is physically no way that an internal problem can make a gaping hole about 1 centimeter in diameter in the screen.... BTW I just looked and it turns out I bought it 2 years and 9 months ago :shock: Barely under the three year limit. Think you could get away with "I just opened it today and it was damaged"? I ended up super-gluing a rubber sticker on to the hole, and this part of my plan worked. They didn't even think about taking the sticker off, but they did end up plugging it in and seeing that there was a circular sort of impact on the screen. I told them that I just came back from a camping trip and my room-mate reported that it happened on its own. They concluded it was physical damage and didn't give me my store credit. :cry: So, I was in dire need for a monitor, and found out that monitors are one of the things that you can't really get cheaper online than at Best Buy, so I bought one. I am now typing this on a 23" Samsung SyncMaster P2370. I did some research and found that this was the best monitor for me that Best Buy had. It's a widescreen, and I'm not used to that but I suppose I will. It ended up being $250, but my mother paid for $100 of it as my 15-day-early birthday present. So $150 for a super huge monitor ain't bad. It has very nice response time (2ms), 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and is really sleek overall, so I'm not disappointed. I have to do one hour of practicing piano, one hour practicing guitar technique, thirty minutes sight reading, thirty minutes improvising on the guitar, one hour of learning italian, and one hour of computer graphics. I've got to do those five hours every weekday.
