I was doing 45 in a 25, but the guy ahead of me was doing atleast 50, so i decided to speed up a bit to catch up with him.

Had a nice Saturday. Nothing special or anything, just relaxing at home after two weeks of travel and two tiring days of school. Played some guitar, listened to music, talked to friends and such.

Haha, that would be crazy. Should really make it 5 + 2. I've only really been "perm" banned twice. The other 5 times were shorter bans (2 months - 6 months).

 

... Aside from that, I need to leave for work soon.

Its actually true, ESPECIALLY in Australia. The government dumbs down restrictions on Learning drivers and Provisional Drivers. I get my full licence in 19 days but beforehand you can only go 80Km'h, cant drive with passengers after 11, 120 hours driving to get your p1 licence etc. people are crashing because driving becomes frustratingly boring for them. I speed, I don't care because I know what speeds im safe at and if I have passengers im not dumb enough to go to a speed that risks their life's but unfortunately there are that small amount of [developmentally delayed]s who think "Hey, lets go 200km/h around a corner like a boss with a car full of drunk underagers!"

 

Which reminded me of a chick I know, her room mate goes "I can easily slide corners at 200km/h, I used to do derby speedways."

 

Those cars cant even get to 200km for starters and no stock standard car can do that speed around a 100 degree corner without rolling.

yeah Jersey's pretty similar, you can't get a permit til your 16, 6 months later and 6 hours of lessons you get a student license [alternatively you can just get the student license on your 17th birthday] . Then after a year of being a student driver, you get a Graduate Driver License [GDL]. Then when you're 21 you get a legit license.

 

permit = you have to drive with someone 21+ in the passenger seat. Can only drive one person not in your family at a time. Can't drive past 11pm. Can't drive before 6am. Must have markers on license plate.

 

SL = Can only have one passenger in the car at a time, can't drive past 11pm, Can't drive before 6am. Must have markers on license plate. You must have this for atleast a year before getting a GDL

 

GDL = No prior accidents/tickets to obtain, Carrier's under age 18 need markers on the plates.

 

License = don't drive drunk and you're good.

I've only been in one accident, and I was being a safe driver. I'll do 160 going from where I live to town, because I know the road and the spots where I need to do the limit to make sure I'm not going to roll.

Stupid indian internet cut and my well written post was destroyed. Doesn't help that I'm connected to it on a phone :-P

Today's the day for doing some fun school projects, meaning I'll be filming for the project of another group and getting together for the project of my own group, so yay for that.
