Pineapple Express was a really good movie... I like at the end how red (also Rico on Hot Rod) didn't die even though he got shot multiple times and got his butt kicked... Hilarious.

Bear in mind I haven't watched the movie.. but why is it so "necessary" to get high before you watch it?

2. Pineapple Express is a special strain of weed they have in the movie. The entire movie is based around weed so it makes sense to me to get high before you see it.

I've just been reading comments of people saying that they didn't find it that funny because they weren't high (on IMDB I think). Just seems that if a certain movie is only funny if you're high, it must be a pretty pathetic excuse for a movie.

When it comes out on dvd I'll give it a shot and see if I can follow the movie. There's a good chance I'm going to miss bits and pieces but I think most people would be able to follow the movie if it wasn't the first time smoking.

Well I'm glad you don't need it. I'm glad I don't need it as well, but that doesn't stop me from doing it. I actually just smoked (2 nights ago) for the first time in nearly 2 months. Was a good "break" but I prefer to spend the occasional Friday evening high and let my imagination take me wherever it wants to go : And I've seen it's effects on people as well. Those who just can't handle it will go overboard and [bleep] up their lives, yet those of us who can do it responsibly may actually get some positive things out of the drug.

Went to see movie with some friends without knowing anything about the movie besides the title.

 

 

 

Funny movie, not sure if I'd be interested in seeing it again though.
