i just saw pineapple express tonight with some buddies (we bunned before lol) and i was wondering if anyone else has seen it and what their thoughts are of it.

 

 

 

i thought it was really funny, but not as funny as i expected (i was hoping above superbad funny).

 

 

 

and who else noticed around 5 actors who were from superbad too? :P

I'm probably gonna see it sometime soon. Celebrate the end of summer with my friends. It's ridiculously easy to sneak into R-rated movies.

 

 

 

And I think it was either the same director or producer as Superbad. That's why so many actors were the same.

went and saw it last night with some friends... smoked a bong, bubbler, and pipe bowl of chronic to suit the occasion :

 

as for the movie though.... it was alright, wasn't bad, wasn't good, but was an enjoyable one time experience

 

 

 

yeah i agree with you, some parts were really funny others just mediocre. i liked how at the end they went over all the funny stuff at the cafe, i think that was smart by the makers of the movie, it gave you one last laugh.

yeah, definately the funniest this year, but imo superbad was a bit funnier.

I just saw it and my thoughts are that it wasn't good, wasn't bad.. but could have been a lot better. It's made for stoners since I didn't really understand the comedy in it sober. If you don't do drugs like me, I wouldn't really recommened it. 2/5 stars.

Just got back from the movie :D I loved it! We got a dime before we headed to the movie and were going to smoke after we got our tickets (so we didn't have to talk to anybody) but I saw a cop and decided not to smoke. It probably would have been 10x better if I had been high but I swear they purposely put that cop there to deter people from tokin up before they went in.

Great movie, definitely a stoners movie. Pineapple express and superbad were written by the same writers.

I thought it was pretty good but not a laugh fest, but I did laugh my [wagon] off every scene Red was in, especially the house fight.

 

 

 

BTW, did anyone catch the Star Wars reference?

I've just been reading comments of people saying that they didn't find it that funny because they weren't high (on IMDB I think). Just seems that if a certain movie is only funny if you're high, it must be a pretty pathetic excuse for a movie.
