Seogege
Well, I'm a bit surprised that this TV show hasn't been noted yet in any threads. In fact, I've searched the Tip.It Forums and only have seen one mention of The Twilight Zone. Now, onto the the thread. The Twilight Zone; a great show with an amazingly interesting and, dare I say, shocking and new story every time compared to TV shows these days. Although its black and white, most should say it still looks great. Great actors and a great script, written by my favorite TV writer, Rod Serling. There's only one problem with this TV show and you young peoples nowadays; its he fact that this show was started a whopping 49 years ago back in 1959! But for the certain few who remember this great show and play RuneScape and use the Tip.It Forums, make your post here and talk about your favorite episodes, the show's strong points, or anything else Twilight Zone related! And even if you don't know this show, or have never watched it, you can still post about what you think this show might be about! I'd be happy to explain it to ya! : Click Here for my RSOF 99 Construction G&A thread! Post your support!
Zierro
I miss that show. It always had some sort of freaky twist. Can't remember many episodes though... I think I remember one that was like the Monkey's Paw where they kept making wishes and they came true but in the worst possible way.
Nadril
I'd always watch it when I was home sick as a kid, don't remember much though.

Tom_Servo
YES! I love the Twilight Zone! "Monsters Are Due on Maple Street", "Two", and "The Eye of the Beholder" are probably my favorite 3 episodes.
Range_This11
My favorite was the one where the guy's wife hated him reading all the time so he would take his lunch breaks in the vault reading at the bank where he worked. One day there was a nuclear holocaust of some sort, but since he was in the vault he was alive. Guy walks out and finds everyone dead, but finds the local library intact. Goes and grabs a pile of books and is about to sit down to read them all when his coke bottle-esque glasses fall to the ground and he steps on them, breaks them, leaving him completely blinded. "He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."
Intriguing
I watched it a few times. I only remember two. The one with Jessica Simpson where she was the baby sitter and ended up getting turned into a doll freaked the hell out of me. Cool.

They parodied that on The Drew Carey Show. The first time I saw it, I didn't get it, but then I saw that episode. Twilight Zone still comes on Sci-Fi every so often, usually very early in the morning, so if I watch any I have to record it. Command the Murderous Chalices! 1_man_army
^^ Didn't something like that happern on Futurama as well? He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
Seogege
^^ Didn't something like that happern on Futurama as well? Yes it did, but it was quite exaggerated. Some details were also changed which include the library he was in (the man in Futurama was in a big library with bookcases and a roof), the beginning of the story (no wife haggling him), and the way it ended, which was the funniest \ . Instead of him breaking his glasses, on Futurama his eyeballs fell out (because he said his eyesight wasn't that bad), his hands fell off (because he could read braille), and his body fell apart, the most ridiculous part of the parody. Ah Futurama, a funny show. : Click Here for my RSOF 99 Construction G&A thread! Post your support!
Princess Viola
I watched it a few times. I only remember two. The one with Jessica Simpson where she was the baby sitter and ended up getting turned into a doll freaked the hell out of me. Wait? What?? If your talking about the crap 2002 version, you need to see the original. My favorites are Time Enough At Last and Nightmare at 20,000 Feet. (BTW Futurama parody of Nightmare was hiliarious)
Range_This11
Yeah don't watch this new bs. The old ones were the way to go. Only watch it if it's in black and white. Intriguing
Haha, I didn't actually know that the newer ones were remakes. So I'm guessing the older ones were better? Cool.
Seogege
Haha, I didn't actually know that the newer ones were remakes. So I'm guessing the older ones were better? Definitely. The newer color remakes were based on Rod Serling's scripts, but were written by other people. If it isn't black and white and doesn't sound like Rod Serling's writing, don't watch it! Sand_Hill
This is actually occasionally on the SciFi channel. I've seen quite a few. My favorite is the one where the earth is heading toward the sun and the woman fights to stay alive, only to wake up with a high fever in the middle of a blizzard  I also love how the narrator speaks with his teeth shut tightly together. LOVE IT! :) Now known as Expl0de.My Defense Pure GuidePlease don't post on forums whilst inebriated.
How2PK
I've seen a few of the eighties episodes a couple of days ago. It was pretty terrible. The theme song is pretty cool though. Lordjake
I've seen a lot of them, and I can't say I've ever disliked one. Some were alright, but most were very enjoyable. Many of my favorite episodes featured Burgess Meredith. Even if you don't know the name, you'll most likely recognize his face if you've watched enough Twilight Zone (or seen Rocky). IMO, the best episode from any season is The Obsolete Man.
