Ah I'm jealous. They're one of the bands I want to see most. Absolutely love them, Ben Gibbard is a genius.

Does anyone know if Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, or Black Dhalia Murder are any good live.

 

There is a show with all of them and God Forbid (Already seen them once, pretty awesome)

 

and Im not sure if I should go because I dont really like BDM or Behemoth so much.

My friend and I have been trying to get tickets for that, but honestly I have no clue if any of them are decent live.

I saw Coldplay July 11th at the Gorge, it was AMAZING! Yellow, which was never my favorite song, was one of the highlights of the show. They had large yellow spotlights, and giant yellow balloons fell onto the crowd. They also walked up to a smaller stage in the middle of the crowd, and they were about one and a half feet away from me! I was trying to get pictures, but I only got one of the guitarist. if I can later I'll upload it. When they were on the stage they played Billy Jean, which was awesome, here it is for those who want to see it:

All in all it was my favorite concert that I've gone to yet, and I hope to see them again sometime. They also gave everyone a free CD of their new live album, LeftRightLeftRightLeft, even though I got it as a free download, it was a nice addition.

^ A couple of my friends went to that exact concert, they said it was good too.

I'm trying to scrape together enough money to see Staind and Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson in August. My dad's also taking me to me Pat Benatar in Ruidoso (3 days after school starts :P). This town doesn't appreciate music unless it was extremely popular years ago (and now they desperately need money) or it's local and cheap.

My parents saw Ringo Starr and the All-Star band at one of them, which was supposed to be awesome. They had Edgar Winter and lots of other talented musicians whose names escape me play with him.

I go to glastonbury every year, woo, and see quite a few bands (pabh/blood red shoes at guildhall etc).

 

Im also planning on seeing muse in novemember, which may the most pro thing ever

Anthrax, In Flames, Between the Buried and Me, The Faceless, Trivium, Better Than Ezra, David Cook, and Sonic Youth are all coming to one concert house in the coming months. And Slayer, Godsmack, and Drowning Pool came in the past month or so.

 

 

 

And this isn't even at the city's main venue, The Fray is coming, and Taylor Swift came a couple months ago.

I've kind of changed my mind on the whole concert thing. After watching a fair few live videos I thought it would actually be pretty great to be a part of it all.

 

 

 

It's a money/travel issue for me when it comes to concerts - my local university never really has any bands on that I would pay to see, but the cost of travelling out of the county is way more than I can afford. Plus, I don't really like travelling long distances be it on my own or with others.

Nah I haven't. I went through a phase of 'not wanting to hear music blasted obnoxiously loud' but then I realised, some music is meant to be blasted obnoxiously loud.

I went to a concert just last week, a small local one (Sabertooth Zombie was headlining). Damn, that was terrifying at times. People getting hit in the face with mics or getting smashed into the stage. My favorite concert was this years mayhem festival, it had most of my favorite bands :) Fortunately i left before Marylin Manson, i cant stand solo artists. Why was he headlining?
