Odd Summoning Monsters

I'm looking for a way to get Charms that's sort of different... I don't want to do Rock Lobsters, essentially. Any suggestions?

 

 

 

Questions:

 

 

 

Can you use a cannon for Waterfiends?

 

Is cannoning Dags worth the Charms?

 

Is (my secret monster ;) worth it if i get Charms per hour, with ~150 of them being Greens?

 

What do Wallasalki drop rates look like?

Do slay for charms.

 

 

 

Some charmdroppers (didn't bother with gold: they all drop some and you won't need so much of them):

 

 

 

green:

 

bloodvelds

 

 

 

crimson:

 

nechs

 

dust devils

 

black demons (in chaos tunnels)

 

greater demons

What do Wallasalki drop rates look like? About 30-40 of each charm/hour is what I've heard.

I've only had 1 task at dagannoths for around 5 months now for some reason...but I think that I remember them dropping mostly golds, so that would not be a very good place to plop down a cannon.

150 green charms an hour is slower xp then the 100+ crims per hour you can get at waterfiends, and greens are less cost effective than crims in terms of shards/xp. The deciding factor is probably how much your secret monster costs to kill. If it loses any amount of money, then you should just kill waterfiends.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

I don't agree with this.

 

It's more like 110-120 with max melee stats

 

 

 

drops will not pay off piety

 

Your stats arent anywhere close to maxed so how would you know? Kents are few levels off of being maxed so I would think he knows what hes talking about, oh and by the way you can prayer flash piety to reduce the amount of prayer points you use up.

Even if 140 isn't possible, 120 definetely is. Either way, the drops DO pay off for piety. If it couldn't, I wouldn't be my current summoning level.

 

 

 

Well I'm a bit farther away from 99s than you, but I don't think that I've ever gotten much over 150 over the span of 2 bunyips(around 100/hr), but then again i can't claim to pay that much attention.

 

 

 

Should you hunt a monster that drops mainly green charms? No, the answer is just no, you'd be much better off at dust devils or something.
