September 3, 200817 yr My last three tasks: 67 Irons 47 Irons (30 point skip) 50 Irons?!?!?!?! wtf? I though i was spending the points to skip them, now I'm thinking of the 100 point skip but then I'll probaly be trapped with steels :x has this happened to anyone else? Edit: just got 150 hellhounds... I guess its better than drags >.<

September 3, 200817 yr I've been getting Fire Giants, Iron Dragons, Greater Demons and Black Demons for my latest 60 tasks. September 3, 200817 yr That is the reason after I got my slayer helm, I decided to never visit Duradel again. It really isnt worth the extra points to go to him. You can probably get better experience from Sumona either way and she gives out a variety of tasks which means you dont get bored going back to same place over and over again.

September 3, 200817 yr Yeah, he seems broken for me to, it used to be like 4 iron tasks in a row till i blocked em, then it happened with steels, so i blocked them to, now he does it with fire giants and hellhounds. :roll: 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.

And they have incredible defence which makes it horrible XP. They're actually not bad things to kill, but if you get metal drag task after metal drag task it probably gets really annoying. The whole point of Slayer is that you kill a variety of monsters. For many people that isn't happening. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

September 4, 200817 yr yea there are a lot of monsters which duradel is supposed to give on the knowledge base but has never given me before...blue dragons is one of them -.- he gives me lots of metal drags, black demons, hellhounds and black dragons. but i guess it's better than infernal mages >.< low hp, lousy drops and hits pretty hard maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
September 4, 200817 yr Black Demons are wicked XP and you will usually get enough cash per task to pay form the prayer pots used. Metal drags are OK except they are slow to kill. Once in a while is ok but I see why people get annoyed with them continually. Hellhounds are OK too. Only bad point is they are usually rammed. If Jagex made another dungeon for them for meleer's only they would rock. Trust the Gene Genie!
September 4, 200817 yr Before i went f2p for few time, I also started a metal streak... Irons, rubbish, irons, and steels... Steels are a pain since they are 5 per world and are also hunted by visage hunters. i've spent like 90 minutes and about 2 pots sets for about 5-6 kills on the 61 my task required due to the crowd. I "wasted" a strong part of the points i had to ban steels. Then i got it : Mithril, rubbish, Mithril, rubbish, Mithril, rubbish... for a while and it fast payed the points back. Stells and now about only rangeable (+fast mage spell) because of the peoples there. Melee/pray was efficient but is now too slow to get the kill. Oh baby light the dark side...

(sure I like irons, steels and wyverns once in a while - but a continuasly stream of them is the most annoying thing there is) First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me.
