All I thought at first was "meh ok, they are just other forums" but then I realized the truth. It seems that this site spreads stupidity like an epidemic over the internet. I realize that it is a restriction-free forum where anyone can go, but what shocks me is that you guys got into it. I expected more of OT than just becomming idiotic pervs in the 6 months I was gone. The point of this topic is just me asking why you OTers are so obsessed with 4chan and all of the stupidity that surrounds it. Most of you are mature, so why go to a site that 13 year olds go just to act stupid and feel older by posting on a site with "mature"(for lack of a better word) material. So I either I don't get what 4chan is all about, or you all have caved to the stupidity of the internet. Please tell me I'm wrong. PS> I'm only posting this because of the impact that it has had on these forums, in other words, the immiturity here is looking like that of General Discussion... I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. I have no problem with other people who browse 4chan, as long as you aren't pushing the memes down my throat. Though it does create extremes, like 911 parodies, it does help grow the internet in new and sometimes positive directions. It's only discredited because of the large amount of immaturity. I am not someone who spams memes and such though, and it really hasn't affected me. Also, ouchy, they are one website, for a start, and in all honesty I have never seen anyone post anything in 1337 speak on 4chan, ever. /b/ has the more posts than the rest combined, i believe.
