Well, there are many things inside the Ogre Enclave. One of the monsters are the Blue Dragons. Highly slain and hunted for their pelts and bones, they are hunted by the thounsands. Well, recently I've seen a population of bots there 24/7. World 39 must be their homeworld, because I see like 4-5 of them there. Chinese names, random names, and such. It's really annoying.

While doing a level 3 wildy clue, I walked pass the wildy green dragon spots and see those standard autoers:

A bunch of them... It seems they are coming back :wall: . I think I saw some in the rune ess mine, but can't be too sure. But so far, I think Seers flax field, and lumby spinning wheel, catherby fishing spots are still clear...

One of the cons of removing pk'ing was that we can no longer go Green Dragon Autoer Killing. 'Twas one of my favorite passtimes :. So now they've basically taken over.

 

 

 

I saw the ones in ogre enclave. Either people are finding other ways of RWT'ing, or they're just getting money for themselves using bots. Probably the latter.

They are preparing for the pk changes to come back. Unfortunately for them they are wasting their time because you wont get the drops of the person you kill. Fortunately for us they will disappear again a week or two once the pking comes back and they realise this.

Or people are using bots to train their own accounts and they wont go away.

It is highly plausible that these people train the accounts up and make money at the same time, and sell them on with the cash and stats included.

Account selling has become alot more popular now, along with many new bot programs recently (some are not easy to detect) they seem to be training them build a bit of cash and sell em on. :roll:

The acc could be banned seeing that 1 day it logs in from china then the next hour logs in from an ip adress from USA

Blame the economy for that. There's an increasing demand, so people will do anything to provide the supply and get huge real life profits.

It's still fairly easy to sell runescape money through Bounty Hunter if you guys didnt know that already.Now the chinese people found it out aswell :P I myself don't realy care cos im quitted lol

I don't think it's account sellers for two reasons:

 

 

 

There is always going to be a limited demand for actual accounts. Once you've bought the account from the person you don't want to buy another one when you decide to get a few more fishing levels for example.

 

 

 

Secondly people don't want to have Chinese sounding user names.

 

 

 

I still believe that its just naive Chinese gold farmers hoping to make some money when pking comes back. They will be very disappointed.

I still remember back at the late September 2006 when p2p first got a major shock in the sudden increase influx of bots and macros; and when the Runescape Forums does not set any rule regarding posting about bots and macros. Topics on bots was so much that Jagex has to set up the new rule regarding not posting about bots in the forum. And in certain times of the day, the bots even out-numbered the fishers in catherby.

 

 

 

So before spamming the same old story that "Jagex" didin't do anything, please know some facts.

The worse thing is that not only are they still taking our Green Dragons and autoing but also we can't go stop them from doing it. :( They're probably of a level to avoid all but 1 rev too to masimise profits... although personally I hope they aren't.
