I got a Wii and need advice for good games. So far I have:

 

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

 

Mario Galaxy - Hated it, kind of repetitive.

 

Pokemon Revolution - Worst game ive ever played in my life.

 

Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 - Almost as bad as Pokemon. Only like 5 different type matches :/

I checked another thread, call of duty: worlds at war is coming out on the wii, and im thinking of getting mario and sonic go to the olympic games and guitar hero 3.

Agreed. Also get De Blob. It just came out, but from what I have played it is an excellent game. I also suggest getting some virtual console games like super mario world, sonic the hedgehog, and streets of rage.

You can also get some (used) Gamecube games, there are a lot more good Gamecube games than good Wii games.

 

Pikmin 1 and 2, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Radiant Dawn, the Wii version, is the sequel), and the Legend of Zeldas are probably good choices.

 

I agree with N0M, don't bother with GH3, GH4 is coming out in a few months.

Umm, yes it is. Something I actually agree with Mlb on. The Wii is the biggest steaming pile of crap I have ever had the misfortune to own. I think i've turned mine on maybe five times the past two months, played some Guitar hero, one match of brawl, and thats it.

i'm waiting for wii sports resort and maybe pikmin 3 if it ever gets past the pendings list.

Revolution is only good if you have one of the ds games, it gives the one things the handhelds were lacking, random online battles against player controlled opponents.

 

 

 

 

 

If you played the gamecube version of Twilight Princess, there is no reason to get the wii version, besides the obvious control differences, the only big difference is that the map is flipped.

Er....a GOOD Wii game? I never knew it had any that aren't ports or minigame collections.
